Only MG team suffer from 150% received accuracy

Still, axis mortars don't get any different received accuracy from allied mortars, yes?

I usually ignore most retard posts, but that bull is just beyond stupid to ignore.

The only "OP" thing is the tracking ability, everything else is fine.

USF mortar does a lot of damage but barely kills anything at max range, and the crew is super flimsy, it dies easily even on retreat, unlike axis team weapons that just never dies.

From statistical point of view ALL weapon crews have 25% increased recieved acurraccy. That means both ostheer and USA mortar crews die to same amound of damage.

So I don´t know what you´re talking about

Actually only thing I found super annoying with USF mortar is it RoF (it´s 1 second lower reload speed than Oshteer pre-nerf turbomortar had). Its rate is so big, that you cannot micro you troops to get out from house when shell gonna hit house and then go back to house.

If you try to do this you will not only lose most of your DPS but also get hit by every second shot from mortar and that is ridiculous :/

Otherwise I think it is rather fine because you can coutner it by moving and hmgs are supposed to be countered by mortars.

Right, I'll just keep moving my infantry that suffers from greater accuracy penalties while moving, and that also can't fire its standard MG while moving.

It's funny how people forget the days of the German laser guided MG-42 mortar with almost zero vet requirements that wasn't fixed for months on end.

and it's still a solid unti rn btw

So this is a reason not to fix the USF mortar and leave it broken? Some past fuckups are irrelevant to this. The game should just be fixed asap.

Yeah, the super accuracy isn't a problem at all.

And you are implying that grens and volks have the same accuracy and damage as rifles and cons?

Not to mention PGs and JLI and Falls, they will just melt the mortar before you even have time to start running

Can you not be aggressive and presuming to know all the stats without even looking?

USF Mortar Scatter:

Angle Scatter: 6
Distance Scatter Max: 5

Ostheer Mortar:

Angle Scatter: 9
Distance Scatter Max: 7

All the other stats are mostly the same in terms of scatter, of course the USF mortars gets two hits of scatter bonuses with veterancy.

The vet 1 bonus is retarded. Change it to setup, barrage cooldown or something else rather than sheer increased performance.

Looking at player numbers for each faction, I have come to the conclusion that this mortar stat "mistake" and the slow-like-molasses response from relic is entirely intentional in order to sell more usf doctrines and skins. If you look into the past on coh2chart you can see quite clearly across all player modes that usf player numbers languished significantly below the average of other factions. Since the op mortar, they are now much higher on par with other factions. So it makes sense financially and thus cynically.
