And you are implying that grens and volks have the same accuracy and damage as rifles and cons?

Not to mention PGs and JLI and Falls, they will just melt the mortar before you even have time to start running


cons and rifles will melt mortars much sooner once they get behind it because they are mid range squads with not that bad moving penalties like grens and volks



Pgs JLI and Falls all cry in corner if you flank mortar with thompson paras, thompson rangers, commados, partisans or shocks

It's funny how people forget the days of the Vet1 ability Mortar/120 mm mortar that one shotted any support weapon that lasted 2 years


The times when BS was balance with BS from the other side. Will my turbomortar wipe his squad before he gets vet1 ? Should i artificially spread my guys using a vehicle so they don't get wiped ?

If you look into the past on coh2chart you can see quite clearly across all player modes that usf player numbers languished significantly below the average of other factions. Since the op mortar, they are now much higher on par with other factions. So it makes sense financially and thus cynically.


There's 2 kind of people. Those who play with OP and those who play with the faction with OP things in order to avoid it.

adamírcz: Might be onto somethin here, combine side armour existing, maps where flanking is a viable option, and hopefully also heavies actually being less manouverable than mediums (lookin at you coh2), and it might be fun gameplay
