what you mean?
If you select the building, a list of units that are in that building will show up on bottom panel. Choosing mg from this list shows the real arc of the mg, drawn from the gun itself, not middle of building. |
After the buffs to su85 and t-34/76, soviets are less reliant on commanders in team games than ever. That opens them chance to strike with your leadout where it hurts the most. You can compose your leadout from commanders that are particularly good against some kind of strategy. It's best when they counter commander or even whole faction, that way you can make most of your decision basing on seeing leadouts of your opponents on the loading screen.
For example static artillery is generally considered bad as it is easily hardcountered by offmap strikes. It happens though, that opposing team has none of very little of such abilies in the loadout, meaning that most probably they won't have them in game. For such situation its good to lurk one artillery commander amongst the three. When it is not countered static artillery is very powerfull.
The same goes another way round. If you make sure you have a commander with FAB IL2 bomb strike, you can always respond with a hardcounter to opponents building artillery pieces.
In case any of these situations happen, you always need another commander that has what works best in general - t34/85 and/or an IS-2. And guards, dont forget the guards.
Of course this is example taking into consideration mostly artillery strategies as it is easy to spot and work with. There are many other aspects of opponent loadout or build that can be used to determine your commander pick and that you could prepare for to have that pick available. |
Lets make it simple - stuart is really powerfull, not impossible to beat, not super OP and not a godly 5 dimensional creature like the usf mortar, but definitely a must go in every 1v1 match.
And the mortar, well, the mortar is just OP as hell. |
but relic already showed us they can actually copy pasta stuffs from game mode, they already did from miragefla one and quality of life.
Just to remind you, in early 2016 relic made a balance patch which was at 90% from miragefla mod.
followed by a wave of hate on relic and miragefla.
i will let this thread go on during 5 more days, will resume it and give it to relic.
We will have reached one hundred vote, which will be alreaady enough to give some credits to our feedback.
It wasn't 90%, it was barely over 50%. And the way they chose changes to make was quite random, while miragefla mod worked only becouse one change affected the other. Still the version they shown us in official relic mod was much better than the game itself at the time. And then they didn't implement it, they implemented different version with changes like changing perfectly fine miragefla mortar into broken usf mortar that is not fixed until now. |
i voted bad, but its more like "i wish there was a bit more support, communication". but if i had to answer to the thread title as is, its an obvious yes.
Then I think the poll means nothing, if everybody understands the question in different way. Just an observation. |
I'm shocked there are so many people voting "bad". What are you guys even doing here? Are you masochist? |
Ace is good if you can build a t3 tank army first and keep them alive, becouse you won't be able to rebuild them. This is in fact the only doctrine that really makes it important to preserve vehicles, not only infantry squads. This promotes good vehicle play.
Making ace a fuel based callin would destroy the whole uniqness and fun of this doctrine. |
Did you see any other faction accessing this kind of artillery in tier 3 or mid game if you prefer?
Or maybe it's not enough that the Pwerfer is overperforming?
Okw has stuka and brits have land matress. What if it was in T3 but lost the supression? |
pretty much all games today are in gpu limit and it will stay like that for quite a while. and honestly, i see quite a bit of guys using a highly overclocked i5 2500k without a problem
You are right, I'm playing coh2 on 2500k machine myself And he said its only for gaming... But if we look at it that way, why even bother with motherboards for 6xxx? If 6600k is maximum of what this pc needs, going 4xxx may be more beneficial costwise.
Btw. I am using 2500k machine for gaming, but for non gaming uses, its getting a bit slow, does anybody want to sell used 3770k for at a good price? |
- Probably not, can't see what else I'd be using it for, I'm no pr0 streamer
- No
- No
- None (laptop)
- Depends, I play less at the moment because playing games is mostly painful on a toaster, and it also depends on what takes my fancy, so it varies a lot, but I'd play more with a better machine
You can scrap some things from laptop if you want to, an ssd drive would be great choice for example, not if you are going to continue that sad laptop proceder of course
And btw, if you want it future proof, I would go for i7, not i5. Yes it is much more expensive but benchmarks and history teach us that 6xxx i5s are slower than 3xxx i7s... (In fact comparable in benchmarks to 2xxx i7s) For the same reason, if you want it cheap, it's worth it to go for older i7s. You can get new i7-4770k for about the same price as i5-6600k and it is faster in most benchmarks. |
