Assault grens having the power of shock troops at 0 cp? With sprint? Not going to happen. Edit: They do scale a bit poorly. But their initial stats are fine for their cost. If you want a unit with more punch, go for panzergrenadiers which come out at about the same time as shock troopers. We don't want them to perform as shocks, but they are terrible. Shocks are also still OP but I'm not gonna argue about it here. MP40 is the main issue IMO. They only do decent damage at point blank, when stationary! I mean you have to get extremely close to the enemy, stand still and do some damage. One simple counter for them is Molotov. If Assgrens get up your ass without tanking any damage, and you don't have a single unit supporting your flank that's your fault. I think a simple MP40 buff would be enough. I'm also fine with a slight price increase for compensation. They also scale terribly, so I suggest this: - MP40 buff (slight damage buff, accuracy on the move buff). - Armor at vet3. - Price increase. About Pzgrens, they are greatly under-performing right now specially now that Ostheer need at least 1 ATG as soon as possible. I don't wanna argue about them either. In: COH2 Gameplay

It's an A-move Fest. Soviets spam maxims, USF spams Rfilemen, Ostheer spams LMGgrens, and later in the game OKW Uber/Schreck Blob will make you cry. COH2 was bought by 500,000 people + It's being advertised and written about in game magazines too. People are aware, that's not the problem.... Well a lot of my friends are not aware of the game. I mean they are, but they are not aware of the game mechanics like RNG bases stuff like Accuracy, armor, etc. Maybe they are ignorant I don't know. But this game has the potential to convince non-RTS players to buy and play it. That's what I'm talking about. There is no remotely as effective Allied counterpart. They aren't supposed to go up against undistracted anti-infantry vehicles, but they stand a fair chance. OKW has spoiled you guys, clearly you want the same omniponent blobs of doom for Ostheer as well. Buff Panzergrenadiers somehow to be more effective against infantry, that's all they need. Maybe buff Stormtroopers in the same time too, as that doctrine doesn't have any call-ins besides Storms which are apparently supposed to be its backbone. No, we don't want that. OKW has nothing to do with this, please do not blame OKW for every goddamn problem. Are Shermans dedicated AI units? No they are not. They are versatile AI/AT units. Pzgrens shouldn't counter a unit like AAHT, but they should be able to counter Shermans. The main problem is high risk of One-shot squad wipe. One HE shot and BAM, they're dead. Fix this and they perform fine against vehicle. keep in mind that they are terrible vs infantry. In: COH2 Balance

They can't event generate hype for their community. It's not too late, they just have to rethink their advertisement methods.
