you're partially right... but you are wrong on the most important point (at least for germany, no idea about the prices in the US, so this is solely based on german prices)...
even the
FX-8350 is cheaper than both the
2500k and the
3570k... let alone the cost for the rest of the system which is (usually) also higher for intel systems (also, i feel like it's comparing apples to oranges, since the FX-8350 is not the "best bang for buck" in the AMD portfolio, imho).
there's a few other smaller things that i don't like about the benchmarks (the settings and game choice, for example), or about
intels policy of intentionally making programs run slower than they should on systems without intel cpus (skip forward to page 132).
in summary: intel is evil (for deliberately making things run slow on stuff that isn't from them) and amd is incompetent (for not being able to come out with a good cpu since the first 64bit processors)... i don't know which is better/worse, that's why i am not a fanboy for either company :-P
