I do not understand why IS-2 should be AI ? I appreciate your interest in realism, but remember that does not balance the game at all. If it did the IS-2 would need to bring the gun back to the neutral position between each shot to reload it, since the breach was too long for the turret. IS-2 is good against infantry because a doctrine with great AI and great AT would automatically be picked every time. You are also significantly under representing the damage the IS-2 can do to tanks. It is a real and serious threat to any Ost armor piece, even the elephant if it can get on its flank. You're sure it was not in counter-barrage mode? I've never seen a vehicle stuck. I did not think counter barrage prevented movement. I could be wrong (I never use it), but normally it just allows the unit to basically autofire whenever it "detects" another artillery piece. In: COH2 Bugs |

Katitof stop attacking straw men. Ram is completely broken at this point in time. It fails to give the player performing it any control over its success (or just about), it is contrary to the rest of the COH unit preservation strategy, and it is just frustrating for both players. Throw in the chance to get immobilize crits and this thing just makes the game unfun. Problem is if you remove or retool ram you are going to need to buff the T34 or allow soviets a chance to get better AT since they will not be able to deal with high level tanks. Grens in front of tanks to stop rarely works in practice because of lag input and faust fire time which means they don't faust until after the ram is complete. Useless. In: COH2 Gameplay |

it is still horribly priced regardless of its anti infantry capabilities since it is effectively checked by a single panther. it should cost less than a regular tiger tank. IS-2 is quite good. It does have to be careful around a dedicated tank killer, but it is very good. This comes down to the Soviets relying on multiple units and munitions to defeat, shot for shot, better Ost units. Use AT nades, a mine, button, or ram to give your single SU85 the advantage over the Tiger. An SU85 + AT nade is more than enough of a threat to a Tiger. When I see an IS2 as a Ost player I have to either direct a Tiger away to engage it or a Panther with AT support, since head to head a panther can lose to an IS2. If the Tiger gets a damaged engine the IS2 can circle strafe it all day. Don't forget to get a Panther the Ost player still needs to go T4, and then build the building, and then construct the panther. The IS-2 player needs only wait for the CP's, so its cost reflects that. In: COH2 Gameplay |

P2W did actually appear in COH2, but you will probably be heard more if you don't attack Relic directly. They made a lot of mistakes with COH2 as a competitive game (no side armor, no universal upgrades, etc.), and I am unsure they can actually fix them. I am also actively looking for other games to play after being disappointed with COH2 and will likely take off once I find one as a result, so I feel you. However, if we try to keep the discussion as professional as possible I suspect Relic will be more willing to make changes. They are not the enemy, bad game design is. In: Lobby |

I agree this will dramatically change how soviet industry plays, and I suspect this will move it in the team game realm. That is not necessarily a bad thing, but if you are hoping to keep it as a strat to fast rush to tanks by skipping inf, I suspect it will no longer be able to deliver. In: COH2 Balance |

Happens more often to me than the ram actually working. I think it is input delay combined with the unit's pathing placing it too close to the other tank. You have to set the T34 to a distance just short of minimum ram range to overcome input lag. In: COH2 Bugs |
