Just disarm it when you are 100% certain he can't see you and do not know you are there. This is not true, just tested it. I was disarming the demo, player could not see me was still able to detonate. This must be fixed. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Ostheer special artillery29 Dec 2014, 17:05 PM Sector artillery is useful on large sectors, and especially if a tank has a damaged engine. You can pop the ability and then just keep los while moving to another location to engage enemies. The injured tank will be destroyed, even IS2's. You can also pop it on blobs for instant retreats, but you cannot counter attack as the rounds land just where units ran from so following behind will kill your own men. An ok ability stuck behind a couple of mediocre commanders. Close the pocket seems lack luster. Tried it a couple of times, and while annoying was hard to pull off. In larger game modes enemy just OP's all cut offs (which are already rare) making doctrine relatively useless. Just get a commander with a tiger or stuka dive bomb. In: COH2 Gameplay

Not really. If I had an SU85 and ran into a hulled down panther I would simply back up and bring a zis forward. At that point the panther has to pull back. I did not realize the build time was 16s! Thread: You have been disconnected !!!28 Dec 2014, 17:49 PM Had this bug for a while. I ended up restarting steam with no effect. Also reset my router which appeared to work. I think in the optimization patch they did something with net code. Try restarting your router. Literally just had this happen again. So router reset was temporary fix. In: COH2 Bugs
Thread: Penalty for Randomly Dropping Games 18 Dec 2014, 15:52 PM I just wanted to note that since the last patch I get error code -3 frequently on my PC. Drops are because the Relic server keeps dropping me, even though I can continue to access the internet. This did not happen before this patch, and so my drops are not because I wanted to but because of a likely bug. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: KV-2 needs some adjustments16 Dec 2014, 15:41 PM KV-2 could use some buffs, as well as a change to how Soviet Industry functions. Australian has a good idea, and Barton's is also a nice one. Don't forget the KV-2 lobs shells so it can fire from behind cover. Medium tanks cannot even reach it when an at gun is in place or a single mine. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Mg42 constantly humiliated16 Dec 2014, 15:36 PM MG42 was broken with 10% increased suppression bulletin, got over nerfed and then rebuffed slightly. It still struggles to deal with infantry (which is crazy) and is not as cost effective as a second gren squad. It should receive buffs (as should all mg's, especially at suppressing blobs) and at that point we might consider a slight cost increase further encourage the use of it as a critical supporting component in the Ost infantry line "worth its weight in gold". I do not want to see the days of 4 MG42 starts though. Suppressed infantry right now are too valuable to the player. They can still crawl forward easily, can throw grenades, and if they have lmg's, snipe the mg down. In: Lobby
Thread: 10 december 2014 CoH2 still freezing12 Dec 2014, 14:56 PM I tested COH2 on multiple connections and computers and I always get a lag spike at 8 minutes no matter where I am. Sometimes it can reconnect and I can finish, many times I get dropped. This has never happened before the December patch. The lag spike prevents me from playing for 20-40 seconds. Thread: Serious Input Command and Retreat Bug11 Dec 2014, 20:38 PM I know we also have the community board, but I wanted to post here to see if anyone could corroborate this. In the replay I attempted to flank with 2 Sturm pio squads and used a Kubel to suppress. At some point I could no longer issue orders to my squads (~8 minutes I think). The squads continued to attempt to finish the orders I gave them, but would also not retreat. Later I had a retreat bug where a Sturm pio squad refused to retreat and stood still until it was killed (10-15 seconds). Anyone else seen this?
