Accuracy buff on gun or MG's please. Tank is not as good as P4 in all manners, but locks me into a tier from which I will never be able to get strong AT.

Just a recommendation, if people do not seem to be coming to your side posting a response after every comment is not the way to go about winning them over. This is also a good way to derail threads.
Also even though the numbers are close you ignore that the differences are enough to cause in game changes. The P4 has very nice AI ability, and its top MG can add to this. Comparatively the T34/76 struggles to deal with German squads, mostly relying on crush to do so. Occasionally they can kill infantry.

I have not had enough time to fully test everything but PTRS do not appear to be the ROFL stomp adventure posted here. The video Porygon shows that an unsupported HMG vs. a blob will die. Why was inc not popped at vet 1? Why did you not retreat once they were suppressed? Why was a volks not around to throw one gernade and force retreat? PTRS on cons may need some debuffs, but if you see lots of cons then prepare. Get Grens/Fusiliers and ISG. Remember the ISG now suppresses on near misses. For OKW do not tech to tanks, you won't need them for a while. I would recommend getting a rakenwerfer for rear gaurd, but otherwise rely on Volks or Jaegers, but preferably Fusiliers. If you have to set up and then call in the Falls, throw grenade and bail. Consider a Stuka. If you are bleeding him fast enough he will be hard pressed to get tanks. In general play conservatively, and engage the blob only to kill more of them than you. For Ost get double MG's after establishing a nice gren blob. Two 42's firing at the same time will pin blobs quickly, and allow you to move at your leisure. Outside of blobbing deal with conscripts as you always have. Force them to move to keep PTRS from firing, and do not close in with vehicles. Above all do not build light vehicles. In larger games get a werfer and fire behind the blob, he should retreat into it. I do expect these to get a slight debuff in conscripts. Really like how Guards feel. In: COH2 Balance |

We should probably play a little more before we make any decisions, but in general I will watch out for Con PTRS blob. Sounds like Guards are actually good at something! @Alex Seriously this again? I am only going to answer you once because I am not going down this rabbit hole again. If you can play a full game without teching until IS-2 hats off to you. I have not managed to not field a tank for 15 minutes as Soviet against OKW since I will get destroyed by their infantry. Sturms repair quickly, but you also get a free repair point with super fast repairs as a perk not a cost! That is a difference in factions, and whether you acknowledge it or not, it makes the units function differently. So you are concerned about KT vs Jackson, but you seem really upset about the IS-2 KT match up, which is it, you don't get both. If you see an American player you don't have to get a KT, in fact you probably shouldn't. Maybe, gonna sound crazy, you should change your build order to defeat your opponent instead of relying on one super tank to destroy whole armies. Alexzandvar raises alot of fair points. No he doesn't. He rarely contributes to the conversation. Often he misstates stats. I will point you no further than this thread where he mistakenly referred to a number of Ober stats. His complaint about the KT ignores a number of advantages it has: non-doc, faster reload, more accurate, shooting at weaker tanks, vet 5 potential, vet 1 ability which is good, vet 3 ability which is good, fast to repair. So if you ignore all that then the cost is the same as the IS-2 and it is a huge nerf. If you instead actually look at the unit you see Americans had no way to deal with this beast and it was a terror. Now they can actually do some damage to it, and it can still be punishing. RIP OKW. This was an amusing update. Well, time to learn how to play Soviets! You mean you won't be able to abuse blobs anymore. Seriously OKW still potent, you just need to decide what unit you need to buy. All this talk about nerfs to Obers, everyone is aware they still have amazing DPS and received accuracy? And they can still get to vet 5? And they get the bet LMG as an upgrade? And they are stock? And they have lots of abilities? I mean seriously, these units are very good, but you need to decide how to use them now instead of just building them and a moving. If he goes IS-2, which you should know, prepare by getting heavy AT and punishing his unsupported push. Since he is locked into a doc why a single heavy you should have all the tools you need to beat him. IS-2 is a good tank and deserves to be dangerous. Almost feels like when you play Allies and a KT rolls into your lines. Except you can get vet 5, and a good vet 1 ability to get out of there, and you used to have better armor (now equal), and you shoot faster, and you have have better effect on inf, and you have better repair options. So you know, better. As for the patch, if this was introduced 5 months ago that would have been very impressive, as it stands this is really the minimum I expected after a half year of work. Serious bugs not be addressed (nades of all kinds not working, MG in building issues, building splats in FOW) still not addressed is really poor form. In: Lobby |

I gotta say this is completely silly, even by fanboy standards. One medium tank means bunk because the fuel cost will not prevent USF from fielding it. In a 20 minute game USF will be bleeding MP so fast to stay on the field with vet 5 units that no amount of fuel is going to help you there. In addition, what Australian did not even ask you to do was convert resources, which you get as stock and would bring you back up to ally income, nullifying their advantage. You may say that you won't have resources for upgrades, but what upgrades? Shreks and minesweepers. Once those are upgraded everything is hunky doorey because you don't pay for upgrades as OKW. Also don't forget that the advantage is one tank after 20 minutes. In the intervening time, you have no advantage because once you spend the MP the extra fuel does nothing. So enjoy your two M3 scout cars. I am sure they will win you the game. Meanwhile in the USF camp I have to pay to just unlock bars or zooks, I have to pay to equip them. I have to pay to unlock tiers with pop cap. USF is good, very good in 1v1, but has no roll in larger games, where one additional tank is useless (if you get it). I am so tired of having useless Jackson, and sherman get alpha striked by shrek blob when they decide to spin in circles on a twig. While OKW has volks blob crushing around map and Shrwer HQ locking out sections of the map that I would like to flank on, since...fuel starved! In: Lobby |
