City 17 was a nightmare, constant blizzards, large slow map, fuel at cut offs that favored campy play. Ultimately the team to acquire the most heavy armor first one.
Rostov is ok because you only randomly get to spawn on the bad side!?! Seriously? That is not acceptable. That map should be removed or fixed.

The way to avoid base pinning with arty is to make it needed to hold the line by shelling advancing units and make it so it can only hit areas the size of football fields. We could also push it back in CP's and make it better. It should fire more often but have fewer shells, and it should not be killable by off map as easily (more-so for the Allied arty). Combining arty, tanks, and infantry in a well coordinated strike was a great feeling in COH1, but is not really doable in COH2 right now. In: COH2 Balance |

Angermunde and Hill 331 are fantastic maps If you are Axis Angermunde is great. If you are allies it is so boring it hurts. Path finding is horid, so no T1 scout cars. Choke points are numerous, fuel is hard to cut off, long concrete lines prevent moving from one side to the other, numerous buildings to call in elite inf from, and map is long and linear punishing infantry retreats. It could not favor the Axis more unless allies only spawned on one side of a river and had to fight uphill to get into a city. Hill 331 has been discussed numerous times, don't add mud just to add mud, map is not fun. In: COH2 Balance |

Seriously though, you don't lose as 4 Wehr against allies in 4v4. Just because rifles are good means nothing. You move through the tech faster so rifles are less impressive. How about "NO!". OKW is in need of nerfs, not buffs, especially to units that encourage Kubel play. You already have the most effective Engineer unit in the game, plus you don't lose DPS to minesweeping, and you get to upgrade repair. In: COH2 Balance |

Not sure what you mean here at all. OKW has the most useful set of units of any faction, it is just that they don't have to use them because Volks and Obers are so cost effective. Seriously though, there are only a few OKW units I would not use at all and as such they inherently have more combined arms. You seem to suggest that combined arms only counts if you have static weapon teams with mobile infantry. USF doesn't have combined arms because rifles is all they can do. In: COH2 Gameplay |

The building plus 1 AT gun in the area hard counters almost anything the Allies can field (except long range arty which takes ages to kill it). It also has 0 pop cap and so requires huge investments in pop cap and MP just to attack while it itself costs nothing to sit. The unit is TOO COST EFFECTIVE! Either remove the gun on it, make it an expensive upgrade, reduce armor significantly, or make the building more expensive. My vote is to remove the gun. It is not interesting to have a player be able to lock off part of the map for 0 pop. That is a brain dead start. In: COH2 Balance |
