Shit really hit the fan... See for yourself: http://coh2chart.com/ Basically, with the OKW revamp, the last bit of glory for the shiny new UKF faction has been lost. UKF took a gigantic nose dive, enough to impress Herr Stuka pilot and Herr Fuhrer himself: Now this graph is really beautiful. This is win/loss ratio of all five factions since July 2015. As you can see, the September patch really made the game as close to balance as it has ever been in quite a long time. But we lost it all in the past three days. Brings tears to my eyes This is even worse. This shows the gigantic gap between OKW and EVERY OTHER FACTION INCLUDING OSTHEER. With OKW's insane Luchs rush, insane Volks pop reduction (5 pop lol), and 100% resource. It clearly dominates the battlefield with 15 minute King Tiger (and that's not even the earliest). Poor UKF has a whopping 25% winrate and a 75% loss rate. They are on life support. Considering UKF is the newest faction with its own arsenal of bells and whistles, UKF is the least popular and least powerful faction in the game. I don't get why UKF's awesome call-in abilities have been nerfed but OKW AND OSTHEER STILL HAVE OP AS SHIT ABILITIES LIKE SECTOR BOMBING OR CLOSE THE POCKET OR ALL THOSE OTHER 240mm+ AREA BOMBING UKF needs a sincerely apology and love. Seriously 1v1 not doing so well either... OKW clearly has no more crutches and now can stand on its own as the dominant ubermensch of the battlefield. Deutschland uber alles. DEUTSCHLAND UBER ALLES! UKF has the lowest winrate with 43.8%, second being USF at 52% as of yesterday after taking a huge nose dive. UKF is even worse in 1v1s thanks to last patch. fanboi: "OH YEAH!? If this formula is true. Then this was the old price: squad_cost = 160 squad_member_count = 5 160/(2*5) -> 160/10 = 16 MP reinforcement but now its squad_cost = 200 squad_member_count = 5 200/(2*5) -> 200/10 = 20 MP reinforcement (whutt???? math???) The bug is Relic changed the squad_member_count from 5 to 4 IN ADDITION TO increasing manpower so now you have a whopping +9 MP penality. Rear Echelons cost 25 MP to reinforce now!? Are you kidding me? Three less manpower than Riflemen. Then what's the point? No seriously, what is the point. I loved playing USF because of these little dudes. They provide so much innovative utility. I used to make good use of their meat shield capabilities (16 MP reinforce), tank traps, barbed wire, repair, vet 3 pwnage, and as M1919 LMG firepower. They are not worth it anymore. They are almost as expensive as Riflemen and aren't as durable as Riflemen... so seriously what is the point. My strat revolved around them. Three rear echelons + 2 Riflemen. I'm not crying about adapting, I'm saying that this Rear Echelon made the already bland USF even more bland. Relic you can't just make a core unit useless like that. The fact that all the popular casters are 1v1ers like Luvnest and Hans doesn't help either CoH is much larger than just the 1v1 community, you need to be inclusive to everyone. Obviously this isn't the case when OKW 100% resource has a ginormous exponential snowball effect as the playlists get larger and larger. But OKW is besides the point, I'm more ticked off at the Rear Echelon change. 100% resource OKW just means more tanks for me to kill, whatever. It's kind of funny actually. Rear Echelon spam...? Nine Rear Echelons and you don't know how to counter them? You serious? And anyways how is that any different from Riflespam. Either someone is gonna make Riflemen or Rear Echelons, deal with it. I haven't played CoH 2 in a while. I've been really busy with the start of the school semester. But I decided to jump back in because of the major changes. And this shit happens. I LOVE the idea. This isn't a big nerf to the Elefants or Jagdtigers, it just opens up more counters to these tanks via non-tank units like infantry or artillery just in terms of PENETRATION. As in... the whole concept of a unit resisting shot after shot of AT gun fire and Bazooka fire is just a stupid concept and is asking for King of the Hill tanks like Jagdtiger and Elefant to rule the game. Its like the pre-patch King Tiger that was impossible to penetrate with ZiS or 57mm. That was the only issue.. the penetration. You need effective ways to stop a certain unit otherwise its just not fun fighting against it. Brilliant idea. In: COH2 Balance |
