During operation in WWII Pershing was classified by the USF military as a heavy tank.
Officially, the M26 was developed as a medium tank, but its mass was: 43.1 tons (Panther, by Soviets and Allied was classified as heavy: 44.8 tons, IS-1: 44.2 tons) and 90-mm guns, it fit well into heavy tanks that time.
In real life and in game the Pershing was designed as a heavy Tank.

Imagine you deploy T34 anywhere on the map. Can parachute a T34 on designated area. How cool would that be.

God, no. I hated that kind of mechanic with Tommy in CoH1. And here you offer to leave conscripts unchanged. In the current state of conscripts, you need only one squad to throw an anti-tank grenade, I do not need more useless garbage under my feet.
It may be easy to remove the SVT drop and replace it with the Guards T-34 / T-34-85 as it was on October 3, 1941 when 6,000 paratroopers (deployed by air) together with the 4th Tank Brigade (renamed November 11, 1941
in the 1st Guards Tank Brigade) stopped the German offensive in the Mtsensk area.
Guards T-34s may have other abilities like: APDS shells, ambush (Typical and successful tactics of the 1st Guards Tank Brigade), etc. The T-34-76 can be with extra armor like this:
Then remove the Scavenge mechanic. How often are there vehicles destroyed anyway.
Remove Scavenge for Caches.
It fixes the issue where OKW can scavenge enemy team weapons which can be quite annoying for the allied players.
Give them Caches for that change. If everyone is happy. Or do not change it at all. It can be seen in two different perspectives.
It is in some way connected because of that fact. Heavy tank is to counter those who have higher income due to fuel caches (which is the most popular option). That is why there is KT for OKW by default.
In this case, remove the 5th levels of veterans, the OKW was built on ammunition and fuel hunger, instead of OKW has the best veteranism. I think it is not necessary to make fractions with mirror copies.

I still don't trust USSR. They were just eating all the nations then, same as Germany.
It'd be interesting to explore a what if, but, if it was on HOI4, I'd say imagine USSR
to pretend to be nice, and then surprise conquer Poland - without Germany help, too.

Eat all countries? Very dubious statement. The USSR was one of the last major countries that entered the war, the USSR intended not to enter the war as long as possible, because the USSR was not ready for war - and the first year of the war showed that perfectly. Even when the USSR showed aggression towards other countries (Baltic countries, Poland, Finland), the main target was to push the border as far as possible. And if the border had not been pushed back — Moscow would have been captured, the loss of Moscow would have meant the loss of the main railway junction — which would have led to the collapse of the USSR and a completely different story. The USSR established a new providence in Finland? Although it could do it twice, occupied Austria or partially Norway? Although I could do it. Whatever it may be but the Communist governments in Eastern Europe are the result of the popularity of the idea of Communism in those times and the fact that the communist USSR was able to defeat Germany.
Fragmentation of Germany into the Eastern and Western parts is a terrible event, but the USSR insisted that Germany be united, maybe the Allies were afraid that communist ideas would win in a united Germany and therefore they insisted on fragmentation.
I'd say it should be comparable to close air support doctrine single pass stuka AT strafe, which is also cheap and quick call-in.
And completely destroys the whole T-34 and SU-85 with one pass. I understand that this IL-2 is an attempt to make a new ability for new commanders, but this attempt is unsuccessful and it is better to take what works well.
Is that thing supposed to be used against tanks? It clearly bad against them to the point it's better used against infantry and besides there is already an ability that does exactly the same thing you want - PTAB?
Why tunnel vision on strafe that does not work, you cant make it strong for 100 munitions and weak strafes are useless - CAS commander, usf tactical support and advanced warfare are proof of that.
Why bother trying to make it into a PTAB when you can just give PTAB instead.
Maybe I am incorrectly expressed, but I am talking about this: replace the IL-2 strafe on the PTAB strike from the “tank hunt” commander.
You mean the PTAB strike that deals like 20% damage and a 3 second stun to a Panzer IV after taking half a minute to get to the target for 180 munitions? How is that better than the latest version of the rocket strafe?
This is a very good ability, closed in just one commander. It is excellent when you need to destroy slow heavy tanks like КT, JT, ST, Tiger, Elephant. They also deals great damage to OKW headquarters, has damage to infantry. This is very convenient when you use PTAB to attack OKW medical headquarters.
