In the live version, the entire squad gains a 5-second sprint. The first guy that shoots also sometimes gets a +50% accuracy on his Sten gun forever (until he dies). No requirements for sprint. 10-secs out of combat for accuracy.
In WBP both bonuses apply to the entire squad, and only last 5 seconds. Though, now, they also require 25 secs out of combat.
if one commando entity does have the "+50% accuracy on his Sten gun forever", does it mean that next ambush an other can have this bonus too, etc ?

Especially since they lose the space for a second Bren as well. I usually put my piats on sappers, since they're so cheap and then they bet real fast so they can repair fadter

The idea of delisle carbines (the .45 integrally suppressed carbine right?) actually sounds pretty cool, since it would allow them to be more unique and have less overlap with infantry sections. Do you know the actual dps statistics of the stems though? Because I think I saw the near dps as 16 but that's insane, I'm thinking that that might have been the pre-nerf stats.
Honestly, stens aren't that great, but I feel like the bigger problem is that their RA falls miles behind pretty much all other combat infantry after they get vet, since commandos get 0 bonuses to RA, so they just lose models really fast even when used correctly past like 15 minutes. I still do think they should have a weapon upgrade though. They're the only elite infantry with semi-undesirable weapons that can't upgrade a unit specific weapon (obers, paras, rangers, guards, stormtroopers, even pfus all can, falls and jlis start with very good weapons by default).
With the bonus on leaving camouflage, they are brutal : P |
Well, not really surprising from relic, in Dow 2, the elite mod ( created by the community ) is like the real competitive game.
Maybe its time to do the same thing with Coh2 ? or we still waste time with relic and "official patches" ?
They make a a new game, they drop support after some years, they create an other, etc ...
And one time they used the word "esport"... ahah nice one. Take exemple esport companies (Valve, Riot, Blizzard, many mores ...), few games, but really really well supported, always improved. thats like totally the opposite of Relic.

russian mortar is fine indeed. its pretty weak, but it has utility to smoke targets and attack occupied buildings - a thing that all mortars should ONLY do. not wipe all time

I was not in alpha, but since beta:
-They used to come from Rapid Conscription (Opieop)
-They were a 360mp unit equivalent in cost with PG at that time. Satchel was a nuke bomb which would wipe any squad in deep snow and kill Penal models as well. Their SVT worked like G43 but they did drop models fast against LMG42/PG. They had the only flamer in the game which didn't explode.
-Not sure about the old veterancy (when OH double HP at vet2) but when they changed it, it remain the same as we have it now (bar the "To the last man". Oorah was at vet1)
-When they removed armor from infantry, they made them 270mp unit from 360mp.
So they basically never saw competitive play cause either T1 was too expensive (we use to start with less mp and tiers had a higher mp/fuel cost) or because they didn't provide anything useful (for flamer you had CE). Penals are suffering the same fate as Su76. No one used them in 3.5 years, so it's hard to adjust and balance it properly.
Molo's / Omgpop / VonIvan Scout car flamers strategy or sniper clowncar are not agree with you ;D

Killing something roughly 1/3 faster for much cheaper is a weird way to say similar. Either way, that video no where near showed your presumption that shreks are better.
From that controlled experiment, yes in that case piats are better? How could you not say that when you video shows that they perform better, in every measure of the word?
