Too bad replays cannot be viewed after a patch its actually a lot faster. jagd can get a similar top speed, but has 40% less rotation speed. and thats after the upgrade. the upgrade doesnt help its acceleration though, which is 66% less than a kt. accelerating and rotating are pretty damn important with how bad pathing is and since the jagd has no turret. if a jagd is out of position because hes trying to dodge a b4, its vulnerable. even if you dont take advantage of that, just lead your shot. its not like hes able to change directions. The panther has no weakness other than a perceived high expense and that varies from player to player. Performance wise, it has no weakness. you can have your own opinion, but saying it has no weakness is just wrong. its main gun is less accurate against infantry than an elefants. its rear armor can be reliably penned by just about anything. it also has a slow rate of fire. combine that with costing more than a tiger thanks to teching and its awful. If you had to face IS2 from the front, stug has better chances to penetrate. its really a negligible amount (26% vs 29%) but being able to take 1 less hit and not having a turret makes it not worth it at all. That's problematic. im going to have to disagree a bit. first of all, i dont think a counter coming out before a unit is inherently a problem. in fact, i think counters should come out first. i know this is an extreme example, but imagine tanks coming out before AT guns. in fact, the wc51 coming before counters is part of the problem with that unit (i dont want to get into building a 1 minute raketen). also, i disagree that theres no reason not to rush a puma. its a matter of opportunity cost. rushing a puma against an infantry and AT gun heavy army is a complete waste. the better option is obviously going to be the walking stuka. when playing allies, im not worried by pumas at all if they show up when i have no vehicles. i actually like to see it because it poses little to no threat. harassing infantry with it is a high risk and low reward because of its cost. ill repeat, i think its problem is its ridiculous speed combined with smoke. Specifically what's below the horizontal line. It looks like comparison of pak vs zis. Pak is way better. hes showing that the paks help even out the is2 vs tiger fight because they are better than zis. In: COH2 Balance
