It is simply frustrating that the Panther misses shots while being deployed in its intended role. Currently the Panther is too niche to be fielded. They should be worse, going by historical gimmick that makes shermans have better one as accurate shooting with pretty much any german tank on the move was impossible due to lack of any stabilizers. Bullshit. The game design has the Panther as a chaser unit. That means it needs accuracy. Your history argument is invalid since we have SU-85s outranging Panthers (which they couldnt) due to its role in the game. So give Panthers the accuracy. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: What to do with OST?7 Mar 2020, 00:12 AM There is only one thing I am sure about: Ost will collapse after the Tiger nerfs. The lack of lategame will become evident once you can't rely on the Tiger as much. What broke Ost was the nerfs to their lategame gimmicks over the last years. It started with Elefant nerfs years ago. Then there was a Panther. The community complained but Panther wasn't buffed but only adjusted. Vet 2 was then nerfed on most tanks. Spotting scopes were nerfed. The command Panzer IV aura was nerfed. The LeFH was nerfed. The Brummbär was nerfed. All small stuff that made Ost good lategame. What was the nail in the coffin were the heavy buffs for Allies (KV1 and Churchill, Pershing). At that point Ostheer did not hold their supposed lategame advantage any longer... which was the whole point of playing the faction in the first place. In: COH2 Balance

You pay 185 fuel for a Panther only to have that thing being utterly outgunned latgeame. You pay 140 fuel for a Brumm only to have that thing being utterly outgunned lategame. Because of "balance" reasons the devs decided it shouldnt be able to fire at AT guns at decent range. You pay 80 fuel for a Werfer only to have that thing later and perform worse than a Kat lategame. This is sheer unwillingness to have German tanks perform. God forbid Germans have quality on their side. Result is the shitfests we have now with Allies sniping everything at range covered with high HP heavies and ultra inf. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: No King Tiger buffs planned?29 Feb 2020, 13:36 PM With the impending Tiger I crutch nerfs and no changes to the 60 range tds ruling supreme, I feel that OKW might struggle in the upcoming patch. More people are going to want to try the KT but that thing still feels lackluster, which is going to be more apparent when the Tiger I isn't a no brainer any longer. The King Tigers gun was nerfed ages ago, it is slow and the armour isn't that great imo since the pen of tds is too high. So you have a sitting duck that can't really inflict breakthroughs. Speaking of 2v2+ ofc, but 5men grens and assault grens didnt seem weak at all in 1v1 so what are people crying about? Are you for real? A 67% win rate is mediocre? In an Elo-system this is insane. I know that guy from the propagandacast and he is in the top 20 since years. Keeping a win ratio that high when you play against top tier players, arranged teams in RANDOM mode that is quite an achievement. But let us just dismiss top axis players opinions on ost... lol. Furthermore you yourself are referring to, doctrinal stuff ost has to rely on that is about to get nerfs. So that guys complaints about T IV being shit are justified. In: COH2 Balance

Are we playing the same game? You straight up buffed Soviets to the moon. But buffs for Ostheer are not intended because it could make them actually perform. They buff the KV-2 (which wasn't even bad) but don't touch the performance of the trash Jagdtiger (fuel is a non issue at the state of the game it arrives). No buffs to the King Tiger either.
