I don’t know what to say, that is absolutely delusional. Grens are 4 men and get terribly outclassed by Tommies. Don't bring doctrines into it. Especially not the ones that lock out lategame content for Ost. The fact that you have to bring in a doctrine (to proove that Tommies are suppsoedly fine) prooves that you don't have a real argument. Play some Ost and enjoy the 4 Tommies in cover bs. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Why Ostheer is OP1 Nov 2020, 14:40 PM Are we playing the same game? Ostheer is at a disadvantage since Grens are way more fragile than any other infantry and cost more manpower to reinforce. British Tommies that outperform them in any regard and (that can be upgraded multiple times for the lategame) being reinforced for 28 mp is just adding insult to injury. Conscripts don't even let the Soviet player bleed and are just as good if not better than Grens. Panther isn't even doing anything in the current meta and 60 rang tds rule the battlefield. LeFh is already nerfed out of the game, Tiger was neutered... which pretty much only leaves Pak wall + Brumm as a good strategy for Ost. Oh and they took the cap buff away from Ost which was considererd necessary to compensate for their fragile inf. But sure... lets nerf Ost. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Why Soviets are OP26 Sep 2020, 10:38 AM One thing I never understood about the T-70 or even the AEC is why those are impervious to small arms fire while the Puma isn't. Time of arrival? Well, the AEC arrives earlier than the Puma. Best solution would be to have the same standard for all. Either all "advanced" light vehicles (everything thats not a Halftrack or truck) get damaged by small arms fire or none. Not even askign for every rifle shot to pen but at least MGs or LMG Grens should be able to chase away light vehciles if those are camping them for too long... the same way Allied inf is able to push a Puma away that is camping for 30 seconds. Thread: No compensation for deleting the Ost T4 cap buff?1 Aug 2020, 09:29 AM Ostheer was seriously lacking behind in the lategame in 2019 and thus got a passive buff for T4 including a cap speed buff since the squads were so fragile and lacked field presence. Heavy Panzer Korps In an attempt to increase the power of Ostheer's late game without increasing the power of its units, we are giving the structure a passive bonus for the army. This will reward players for teching to T4 and allow Ostheer to be more aggressive by reducing the bleed on core infantry units. The increased capture speed should also allow Ostheer players to retake sections of the map more quickly in the late game. Now reduces the reinforce cost of Pioneers, Grenadiers, and Osttruppen by 2 Reduces the reinforce cost of all team weapons by 10% Increases the capture and decapture rate of all Ostheer infantry units by 25% People even thought that the winter buffs were too little and didn't really help Ost T4. And then the cap buff was deleted without any compensation for it.... leaving Ost lategame in a bad state again. All Out War Passive Due to the nature of this issue overriding other capture bonuses provided by ability, we are removing the capture bonus. 10% Capture Speed Bonus Removed. Long story short. I think Ost needs something for the loss of the cap buff. Even when there was a cap buff it was arguably not enough to make T4 viable. So now we are back to the underpowered state of Ost T4. Thread: Toxic25 Jul 2020, 16:40 PM What killed CSGO: 1) Smurfing. I already hear you say: "But it's not cheating." In my opinion it actually is. You are tricking the ELO system to seal club worse players. And having a smurf in literally every game is what killed CSGO for me. Free to play mechanics was just the nail in the coffin. 2) Russians. I mean it. While every other player made an attempt at speaking English, these guys were special and expected you to speak Russian. No teamplay involved. What makes Coh2 toxic: 1) Weird matchmaking. Smurfing plays in there aswell. But nothing is more frustrating than getting matched versus an arranged team and having a noob as a teammate. And this happens quite often. Only way to circumvent this is canceling the game search every 2 minutes. But evne then you will get matched versus teams. Quite an unfair advantage. Biggest issue in teamgames imo. 2) Assymetric balance and according cheese mechanics. The game has quite some double standards favouring some factions. Brits as a whole come to mind. In: Lobby
Thread: State of the ISU-15222 Jun 2020, 18:25 PM Long story short: Imo a unit that can wipe infantry squads at 70 range does not fit the game. The Brumm was nerfed because it could do that at range 40. It was tuned down to half the range of the ISU(35). Sure it wasn't doctrinal. But the main issue with the ISU-152 is that it hardcounters Paks and Raketens before those can fight back. Brummbär can't do that - it can get off a shot with the vet 1... but that's not a permanent issue like with the ISU. And countering it with Elefant or JT is not a good option. A unit that can only be countered by going for a doctrine is wrong design because it locks out all the other doctrines. In: COH2 Balance

Disadvantaged at any stage of the game. Axis inf gets steamrolled by durable Brit, Cons or Bar blobs and the tanks get wiped by 60 range AT dominance. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Axis factions get worse with every patch18 Apr 2020, 18:14 PM Rant post but it is a serious issue. We now have three Allied factions that greatly outperform the two Axis factions in every regard. UKF > Soviets > USF > OKW > Ostheer. With the return of the Brit bs and the nerf of the only Axis unit that could fight back (Tiger) Axis are not competitive. Change my mind. Katitof posts will be ignored. In: COH2 Balance
