My bets on war effort. There will probably be a big balance patch too, but Relic usually doesn't talk about balance changes til they are about to implement them. With the emergency patch that came out yesterday, I think we will still have to wait at least a few days until the patch or else they would've just waited to put it in the normal patch. |

If it makes you feel better they will probably release a ranger commander sometime soon. we are due a big new content patch for a while and relic hasn't been one to waste content. |
Alright Im just throwing an idea out there... how about we buff P4's armor just a wee bit and increase it's MP cost to like 360. And give Stug more HP, no nerf.
This way, if Jackson does get it's buff to pen at a cost of dmg, it will remain effective vs all Ostheer T3 but more viable vs OKW, and Ostheer T3 will remain relatively equally effective as it is now vs USF/Jackson, but now slightly better vs. everything else.
Edit: also, make the StuG a pure tank destroyer. 2 dual purpose tanks in the same tier doesnt make any sense, and the other vehicle is pure anti inf. Because then it will be impossible for shermans and t34s to take them on. As well as impact already suffering allied infantry at from doing anything. |
Micro. Keep losing harassing squads because I forget about them and they run into obers or something. I should probably use the keypad shortcuts more then i do too, which brings down my command time too.
I can stratagise and adapt with the best of them, but I would never enter a tourney or anything knowing they could out micro me anyday. |
Actually Panther is easily accessible in 4v4, since map control is not as important. You can easily go T1 - T4 and still rock.
As Ostheer, you play a more support role in 4v4. You can always go more offensive/carry role too, but OKW can do that very well. It all depends on what you want to do, and what map. Obviously, soe doctrines do not have a Tiger.
It is up to you really. Panther does not have as good AI as TIger but it has more range. It still is decent versus infantry though with its machine guns.
4v4? You can pull a T4 rush easy even in 2v2. Between Paks and schreks it's really not that hard to hold out. |

Crew repair is basically fine, just add a cooldown of 2-3 seconds.
I had a game yesterday (didn't save the replay) where a Sherman was moving on to my grens, I fisted and retreated. With my second gren squad that was en route to the frontline I wanted to catch the Sherman - because I felt that he would not have moved far until he hopped out. My assumption was correct, I saw the crew, hoping to kill two entities to punish him for disembarking in the middle of the battlefield, but he simple hopped in, sherman shot instantly, wiping the whole vet2 squad. Right. That shouldn't be possible. They need three entities to man a sherman. |
The lack of side armour is truly mind boggling. In a game where they waste precious cycles simulating blizzards that people hate, they neglect basic principles of armoured engagement. We still might see it implemented. Relic has shown that they are more then willing to make large game mechanic changes. |
