I don't see this thing being relevant at all if nerfed. It's shells are barely better then shermans HE and nowhere near as accurate. Nerfing it might reduce squadwipes against bunched up unit but it wont do crap against units actually out in the open.
It's also the US's only nondoc vehicle based arty, a job it's barely actually fulfilling. When put beside a katyusha or panserwerfer it's wiping potential doesn't even come close. |
Nerf long range accuracy of schreks.
Buff allied AT infantry to usefulness.
Infantry AT should not be some sort of factional advantage. One side should not be any better at it then the other. Especially not the side with better tanks. |

The issue with it is you'll if you go KV-1 + SU-85 you'll probably just lose to Volks Shrek Blobs. KV-1's armor makes it a bit better a taking on schreks then most tanks. It doesn't have to run away at the first sight of them unlike the T34s. |

I've noticed that it comes out late enough to start getting killed by Axis Heavies the moment its out.
Anything I can do to counteract this? (Since I'm beginning to really like the KV-1, it's just a big brute) it usually comes out in time to be you're second tank. Buy an su-85 first to handle armored threats. At guns work too. It's not much of a tank killer but its good for protecting the things that are. |
No tank can crush tank traps in COH2. This goes for the KT, JT, IS2, all the other tanks that could crush tank traps in COH1, and the Bulldozer.
Heavy crush involves being able to drive over hedges like those found the centre of Langreskaya. The aforementioned tanks, and the bulldozer, can drive over these hedges.
So tank traps can actually stop tigers and panthers? I might start using them more. |
You all do realize that the forward retreat point for OKW makes it -easier- to kill their blobs when they are all clustered around a truck using b4, 120 mortar, priest, call in arty, ect? Not if the OKW player is actually competent and spread out their units while they reinforce. The med truck has a higher reinforce range then most other forward reinforce points. |
I can say from experience it doesn't. I know this because once I spammed Tank Traps on Ettelbruck thinking I'd just be able to drive through them later. I was wrong, I restricted the enemy's movement but also sealed his flanks from myself.
yup just tried it. It's pretty stupid not to have it considering it has an actual plow and no other american unit has it. It has far more right to have it then the panther. |
It doesn't, in fact the plow doesn't even have collision.

I really want to see Japan soon, but Brits are probably next on the list and I doubt we will see them paired up with Japan. Besides they would need to fix the heavy tank dominance before they even think about adding them.
Let's just hope the brits have a real heavy tank counter. And heavies get fixed. |
