Where is this stated?
Can't see it on the Steam store page?
Since when you could get a factual information about the game in the Steam store page? |
It is a buff. The AOE curve is better now, with 0.25m OHK radius. I did a drawing on the piece of paper, but imgur is trash on mobile, so can't upload it properly nvm. Did it on PC

4v4 is not a competitive mode, not in coh2 and not with randoms. |
LV are hardly a threat in teagamas, I don't think even in 2v2"baby AT" is worth building. It is purely 1v1 transitional team weapon to fend off a 222 or flak HT/luchs.
Cheap, 60 range, moving camo + canister shot at 35 range. If you add up that penal builds may become much more common next patch, because of sandbag nerf, buffing these may push it into meta.
Just imagine playing as OST and knowing that your 222 with proper timing might do jack, so you give up that power spike and just stall for P4, while trying to survive t70 harras. |
Thanks, I only make one and it is totally dependent on still having clown car alive. Most players don't expect it so easy wipes or wipes when chasing. SVT are better overall, but they don't wipe as well. I use airborne for LMG for long range damage so it works out well. However there is no indirect which can mess you up.
Your thinking applies to this map, in Langranska where muni and gas have same cutoff, you cannot efficiently counter it. They are not worried about scout car because you wont have a vehicle.
EDIT: Like you said he had enough to BP1 but didn't since it wasn't needed. That hoarding of resources due to no BP1 or T1 lets the player keep massive pressure going and can technically bring in a 2nd one to close game out.
I'd just get a zis and grind through the early phase. Once you have some elite infantry and later t70, the game should stabilize. The strat is very all-in like.
Also the doctrine with 120mm, shocks and t34-85 looks like a great counter to this, or even land-lease with thompson assguards and dshkas. |
so 2cps and pgrens with clowncar is alright timing. Most elite infantry are 2cps, so It is all good. I guess you might have Pgrens before BP1, but this strat has a downside of delaying your 222. Also even if you active enough and get 2 cps before having resources for BP1, you still won't win a lot of time, but you get a very late Clowncarwith slightly early Pgrens. I know that you supposed to get that with BP1 with other commanders, but still it is not a good vehicle imo.
BTW the guy you played against could go BP1 even before he could build a that party bus
About replay:
I think you understood that 2 engies into clownlar does not work if you have no munies, no point into.
I agree with Donnie the medic timing was late. With penal build I would have an itch to build Medics when I saw that 4men almost 10% Hp squad. That's like instant +100MP into -200mp upgrade.
Also PPsH penals? Do they work? Very weird upgrade for a squad that has SVTs. maybe it synergizes great with penals passive, no clue really, but they never worked for me and I was spamming Airborne for more then a year and a half |
Well, that is the point of the commander.
Also, he does need BP1 to build Pgrens, just not the building (iirc).
This is rather a L2P issue than a balance issue.
he means that with that sort of all-in build you don't need a t1 building, because AssGrens and at CP1 cp2 you get a clowncar with early Pgrens.
This is a dumb comment by my part |
Statistically, on paper, the sherman is great vs infantry but its an overkill to mask the reality that the tank deal poorly in any other aspect of the game and at the stage it hit the field what you need is something consistent on which you can pivot your infantry, not an overkill AI tank that translate terribly into the late game because of its inexistant survivability vs late game units unlike the P4 that will continue to pose a threat to the Jackson, Firefly or Su-85.
And AT guns will continue to pose a threat to a Katyusha for the same reason!!! Buff Katyusha please!! |

Honestly it is a good tank and I'll go that far saying that if SOV Land Lease had this tank in its disposal, it would be a S+ doctrine right now, especially after 76mm ROF nerf. Just because it dies easily in 4v4 and can't reliably 1v1 other tanks, does not mean it is bad, just saying. |
The USF tech tree is a gigantic pile of doghsit compared to OST, AT guns and HMGs sit in two separate tiers.
Meanwhile OST gets a HMG in T0, mortar, sniper and grens in T1.
orgot to tell you that you have NO stock rocket arty or sniper to dislodge those AT guns, good luck.
My guy, you said "USF has dogshit teching, only getting medium armor at T4, whilst OST has medium armor by T3 BP2." which is a rather shortsighted view of teching.
The problem is, it has great HE shells and alright AP. But the P-4... just gets both in a single shell type with more armor and more survivable vet. The Sherman might wipe faster, but so does the Cromwell which has great AoE but absolutely garbage OHK radius. ....
Imo Sherman is okay, you need to be cautious about duels vs P4H, but it is far from a toothless in this regard like t34/76 is. Imo I'd rather have AOE of Sherman then that of P4's. |
