Imo we should stop concerned with what esports think, what other esports titles do, yearning to move coh closer to mirror units, mirror maps, 100% deterministic outcomes, clicky apm low ttk. Just another 'competitive' rts of yawn

In fact, I expect if you survey the thousands out there still playing coh2, to give up rng for bland out comes, who will agree in it?

In fact making plane crashes do zero damage is a betrayal to the larger fan base, pandering to a few tens of 'pro' players. Yawn. Veto it relic!
As long as the original crew has its target size reduced to keep the it performance the same the change is good and it should actually be expanded to include HMG.
ATG crew do not need to become weaker vs tank mgs.
Mobile Mortar Smoke
This bonuses are a step in right direction although probably not enough, the problem remain the time from ordering smoke to actually delivering it which is usually too long.
To increase mortar usage I wold suggest to further improve the performance vs cover garrison by reducing the penalties (even as vet bonus).
I would so far to suggest reducing the ATGs capabilities vs buildings since currently they more attractive option than mortars.
Brummbar and Dozer 105mm Sherman
A good change but would rather have the gap between autofire and manual fire decreased.
Else at least add a note in UI informing player that they should use manual aim.

I disagree mobile mortar smoke is on right direction and need even more buffs.
By making smoke even stronger, while not touching recon flares. Both damage the fundamentals of game design.
Which is probing, true sight, positioning and flanking.
Now with more liberal mortar smoke, players can drop sight blockers with aplenty!
This is a change to RA, not damage so it won't affect how much damage the pak takes from Katy's.
It's a larger nerf to Soviets, as they generally have worse RA to start. OKW takes a hit because the raketen has lower range and more likely to be hit with small arms.

Ost hit is definitely highest because of reasons I stated, and I forget to mention allies have better LV too! Now even ukf has early RE, and aec.
Yeah this is simply bad for ost as Pak is their only 60 range mobile tank counter
To highlight my point here, imagine if you were one of the North America’s most successful and well-known Esports players like Huk (who got frustrated with COH and left for SCII) and you miss an AT gun shot at close range on a last shot on a vehicle that wins or loses the game. And, it's for tens of thousands of dollars... that is the breaking point for a lot of people who consider themselves pros and would want to get into a game like this in a serious competitive way
Solution is to stick to playing SC2.
I have no pity if 'pro' esporters lose ten grands in Coh2 due to rng. You know the deal, deal with it.
I like coh rng as rng. Why should I care if someone else loses money, who are already sponsored, when I myself bought the game with my own money
no... DR affects both explosive and small arms damage... its also really good since it means that AOE damage is reduced... a huge killer of grens

the loss of RA still affected grens against chance of hit. so yes DR is not a catch all buff. Not huge when it comes at vet3 too.
brumbar did not get buff afterwards, but a small part of the nerf was reverted. now its going to get another nerf bat!
vsl iirc came before 2v2 wc. it wasnt much use for a long while. ost players only started exploring after heavy were nerfed. but in 2v2, heavies are still a thing and vsl doctrine is not as useful late games.
3 min pgren is a high level 1v1 thing imo. out of my scope.

nope you wrong. i dont have the details, but the only buff since 2v2 wc was 20% DR on grens, but at the cost of losing RA. So they are better against explosives but slightly worse against infantry
brumbar was actually nerfed prior to the 2v2 championship! lol.
I think there was a slight reversal afterwards, but still an overall nerf.
