The idea is changing them to be closer to conscripts once upgrade so their weapon could also be closer to Mosin also. They could even use Soviet made weapons. So are you saying that there is an upgrade option, remove MG42 option for improved rifles dealing from 8 to 12 damage instead. Is that what you mean? Is that the only change or is there more to it? This rework focuses on diversing defensive options instead of the original design of making Sim Cities stronger and eradicating their counters. 0 CP: Defensive Operations Unchanged. 0 CP: Machine Gun Nests Royal Engineers and Infantry Sections can build UKF base bunkers for 150 MP 60 MU. Replaces Improved Fortifications. 4 CP: Recon Overflight Standard recon plane. Synergises with Forward Artillery Base and the 17 pounder. Replaces Advanced Assembly. 4 CP: Forward Artillery Base The Forward Assembly's artillery flare ability gains +60 range. Replaces Counter Barrage. 10 CP: Precision Barrage Unchanged. Thats good! Maybe in CoH3, this will be a thing but for now, you will have to use the Numeral Veterancy Descriptions mod to get accurate veterancy stat bonuses. As long as they are making COH3, I am happy. We can live with that. As long COH3 is not Modern Warfare which is something I do not like. Another WW2 game would be great since they area great currently on that area of expertise. Maybe even WW1 would be nice. Another COH3 a fine reason/explanation it is! Though it would be nice still if they decided to do so, add the vet by default for coh2. In: COH2 Gameplay

The Upgrade the unit to Ostlegionen/Osteinheiten could change the unit to remove the cover mechanism and perfome closer to conscripts. Could include target size 1, merge, grenade and maybe At riflers. Ostruppen, I do not think their performance should change. Their MG upgrade comes only when Base Tier 3 is researched which is late game. Cover mechanism is good since they only deal 8 damage per unit. Taking that away would make them horrible. They are a unit that relies heavily on cover compared to IS. Ostruppen should be separate in terms of abilities and performances differences and uniqueness. Although I would not mind merging, but not change their performance. I am curious to hear your suggestions to the way their performance should be changed, in what exactly do you mean? Will their damage be the same, or increased. That kind of stuff! Conscripts which I hope soon enough get 7 man squad option. Should be available any time. I think 17 manpower cost to resupply is too cheap, maybe 20-23 manpower. In: Lobby

Its current description is vague and seems according to some units outdated. This is problematic. This can not be ignored. It should be dealt with. This would be greatly appreciated! Maxim is so bad that the Grenadier can get close to Maxim in the front and kill him with a single rifle grenade, while the grenadiers will not be suppressed. Maxim is not that bad, surely a grenadier can not get take out anyone in 1 rifle nade unless they are clumped behind yellow cover. Maxim is ok, just lacks suppression but compensates currently for its damage and 6 man, set up time too. If a grens squad attempted to go for Maxim single handeldly, it would lose 2-3 man. Maxim needs support, that is the usual case. Conscripts are the ideal choice and engineers. They are good but not that good. Buff suppression and decrease to 5 or 4 man. Set up time is still superior to others which is another upside. The only major downside currently is Suppression. It is great against units behind cover which Axis MGs are terrible at. Maxim has all but suppression. In: COH2 Balance
