OKW engineers have four STG-44, British get 5 people but can buy any weapon. Wehrmacht engineer can get the 5th person with STG-44 as a sergeant. Soviet? Maybe 5 people and 2-3 PPSh-41 or SVT-40. Since there is no possibility of adding new models, I have no other options. PPS-43 would be appropriate for the Soviets. Conscripts have mostly mosins and hopefully by default upgrade option SVT. It would better for the engineer to have PPSH similar to the style Wehr Pios have with close range DPS or focus. The fact Brits engineers can become more powerful seems clearly unfair. I think every other faction deserves more out of their default engineer/pio units. In: COH2 Gameplay

It seems just a different version of Panzergrenadiers, that is all it currently seems. The reason why it would suit Stormtroopers very well with STG upgrade is the combination with "Tactical Advance". Create more aggressive type of unit. Now with MP40 is simply a joke that ability. It is a suicide button unless you use it within 10m. Otherwise you will lose definitely. In: COH2 Gameplay

Thread: Universal carrier rework thread9 May 2019, 13:42 PM I think it should be a bit more vulnerable to small arms than it is currently now considering it does not cost any fuel and only manpower like Kubel. Maybe increase it slightly more the chances of damaging it with small arms since it feels somewhat impenetrable unless you use Submachine guns. In: COH2 Balance

Seems arbitrarily harsh. I also never want to see 5 man sturmpios, thanks. How about for Sturmpio, "Veteran Training". Shoots more consistently and accurately, a purchase vet bonus costing 60 ammo. Buys its way directly to Vet 2 (which provides those accuracy bonus as mentioned) since it vets one of the slowest. No additional man, would be strong maybe. I think all engineers should be made more viable especially Sturmpio. Sturmpio drop relatively fast or do not seem to scale well in combat mid game. So it would not be actually a problem for them being 5 if that increases their chances of combat in mid game. It would cost more especially to refill. Instead of using Volks only. In: COH2 Gameplay

I remember. I do not think it would hurt at all if the devs placed back the option to have also STG package for those who feel like having it. Removal of it was done to create some kind of diversity. Well, they took the option away making it seem now less diverse. It would make more sense for the "sake of diversity" if there was either MP40 or STG instead of one choice only. If you take USF paratroopers. They have 2 weapon choices. That is great. Imagine now if they had Thomspons only as a choice. Guess that would make people upset! In: COH2 Gameplay
