I think it would be a great additions. There are many commanders, and more will most likely arrive with all those empty slots. This is really something that should be implemented. The bulletins can be interpreted since the symbols follow a certain logic. Commanders however, dont. And some of them look really similar. |

I am not interested in who did what and not, but some posts in this thread make me sad.
I really dont understand why "this is the internet, accept bullys and trolls" would ever be a valid argument. Yes, its easier to hide behind an alias on the internet, making it easier to harass or troll others (do not confuse this with the random heat of the moment cursings, accusations, I talking about making trying to bring another to his knees). That doesnt make it less harmfull. If I dont accept bullies in real life, why would I do it on the internet? And seeing internet becoming a bigger part of our social life its kind of hard to just accept that no laws apply. Because actually, they do.
I really appreciate the job that moderators and developers put in to keep their sites/games/forums as civil as possible. |
That many major changes at once? Hell, Id pay 30 bucks to avoid such a 'balance' patch. It just swings changes wildly. |
2nd. I tend to save alot of replays, and getting them from other players. When I try to sort my games by date, it simply gives me a headache. Small thing, but really would like it fixed. |
@theschizz
Interesting, but weird. I am playing 2v2s mainly. Will take a deeper look into this! |
FYI you should know that currently only 5,7% of the players who have played 10 or more automatches, and 2,9% that have played 25 or more. Now I do think that its not because they didnt like balance. I think many players are contemt playing campaign ToW or the occational AI skrimish (not that there are alot of the latter either). I really think the community is smaller than it thinks it is. This also might explain the lack of dev interest to hurry pvp gaming.
With that said, I really hope it swings and more ppl get more into pvp gaming. Also I do hope that relic soon gets the features asked by the community into the game. |
Agreed, and a related topic would be the half sec to a second delay from input to action. Example. I see animation of molotov throwing conscripts, tell my grenadiers to move right. But like a deer on a road they stare at the molotov until it hits them. When they are on fire, they decide to move out. This goes for almost any infantry input. Grenade-dodging, and also retreating at the right moment is alot harder to do now, due to this needless delay. It kind of evens the field between skilled and non-skilled players, and while some might like it, I shure as heck dont. Im not nearly a pro in anyway, but I want the units to react when I tell them to. |
Strafe (on opel blitz commander) is getting looked at by Relic. Dont think there is any info on how and what exactly they are looking at, but there are several things that might need adressing with that strafe. |
I do think it gives the MG a little more stayingpower early game where just a little more time counts. The other weaponcrews of 4 guys are just fine, the MG42, nah.... Not until they fix infantry damage against supportweapons (overall, soviet and ostheer alike). |
