Derail is what people do comparing things for the sake of their argument and without any common sense nor balance concept of the game overall, allied and axis. But since your claims are allways alliedbiased i am pleased to point out all the flaws it has. Would you start to being axis biased and youll find me again, pointing out each point.

The topic is about JLIvsPathfinders and that has been already discussed. Also JLI are being balanced slowly and efficiently, in a manner everyone here agrees rather than instameganerfing into badlands...

The plane should be shot down before the ability be effective and become a waste of munition just like the ally supply drop of soviet. So this will be fair and consistent on the same level of "counter".

The ability itself says how vulnerable the plane is...
So a bad comparison is being made between an economic plane ability and a combatant planes ability...

OP, breakthrough information: JLI and pathfinders are not meant to do the same neither in the same factions, therefore comparing them is like comparing apples to oranges. They only share to be call-ins infantry with some long range superiority.

Again costs mean nothing compared with other factions, but to the faction itself and its relative cost to achieve more important goals. In other words, JLI cost is the only way to balance JLI within OKM. Just that, as for pathfinders costs mean you need to choose either that troop or any other one.

A) The MG42 imo is in a good spot
B) Every other MG falls short of the MG42
C) Either the others need to be made more cost effective or the MG42 needs to bump in price
D) Grenadiers are not a reason to not implement this change

The faction has to be balance within itself and with others. So both arguments are wrong.

EDIT: What people nowdays say "Its a bad design" means the faction isnt balanced in itslef, and when ppl rant about "(Instert faction) is OP/UP" its the inbetween factions balance. Gosh i need to explain to this level

Change tank RNG with a penn/distance/armor eq.
Armor + (distance/scalingF) =< penn*modifiers --> dmg if true

scalingFactor because distance units may not correlate to actual penn/armor values, and modifiers for the attacks like HVAP for M10 I.E. to secure a penn shot at max distance.

This way, some TD can become the most reliable to get tanks from far, but if its armor is not that big, they can get countered too. Kiting is the best tool to get secure tank kills. Ambushes too. RnG tank brawling will become a thing in the past.
Rear armor hits could do +50% dmg. If not its lower armor makes them easy targets
