If a unit goes from brain dead pick to not being used at all it is an overnerf. Its not that the maxim fell out off favour a few days or weeks it was a long time. It was nerfed so hard it needed some fixes to have it be even usefull or cost effective. The small fire sector increase and band aid deathloop fix didnt cut it. It needed a vet/muni ability to be of meaninfull impact. It did get the usf treatment of feeding it muni to be most impactfull So it was overnerfed but the small buffs changed that to nerfed hard. Now if wiped axis players recrew it pretty often so its mostly in a good spot imo. In: COH2 Balance

The 6 men crews are not as expetional as some claim the deathloop still excist and axis dps and aoe tends to be a bit better because of the 6 men squads. So i will say it again 240 mp is the proper price considering everything excepts its 1 time being op way back when. In: COH2 Balance

People still get panic attacks if one even mentions a price decrease current day. Lol maybe it wasent so bad and people over exagerated a bit... To me the most broken thing was how unplayable allies where in 3s and 4s on release. And the ost turbo mortar in any mode. In: COH2 Gameplay

The okw on that side control only normal 2 sector and a VP for 2 minutes, then they completely lose map control. Actually in that game UKF player was originally out played and had IS forced to retreat by SP as you can see from the pic, yet he still manages to win the first engagement without any help form USF. Yes I because it easier than wiping out the names of the players You are entitled to your opinion.By the way was that formulated by experience or by theory crafting? But think it safe to say that: 1) tactic is being used 2) there is no snare available at the time frame 3) combat drop works I saw the section being on retreat yes. But ukf forcing okw off the field in a first/second engagement i fail to see stil how that is the sole reason that okw loses complete map control. Okw does about the same to soviets and even ukf with no help yet no one bats an eye. Both dont have snares as well at that time. Thread: Royal engineer Recovery Squad1 May 2022, 16:22 PM The first two foto's have the minimap and taskbar visible. I am assuming those are of the same game. So the second shows axis having more territory dispite being forced to retreat the first time. The other 2 foto dont have the minmap and taskbar showing. Is there a reason for that? Thread: Royal engineer Recovery Squad27 Apr 2022, 07:32 AM Again a thread about a allied faction having any or slight edge somewhere being made out to be to good in stats/synergy or otherwise, god forbid a axis faction gets the same scrutony from the op. This possible opening wich requires a commander to get agressive at the expense of map control and mp/fuel early on and its still not without big risk. Nothing gamebreaking about it. It comes at the expense of 2 things and you gain one advantidge. Its not some sort of sweat deal with no downsides. Wich means it is not op nor deservings of nerfs. In: Lobby

You brought Soviet commander into this thread but somehow OStheer commander are off Topic. Right... i just did what you normaly do. Worked like a charm. You started and continued the commander dependence thing, not me I have posted about Pathfinders ambulance Scott and mortars. I suggest you return to those things. A commander being popular does necessarily translates that the faction a weak and need an OP commander to win, it is as simply as that. i 100% agree with the later part, it doesnt neccesarely mean that indeed. But you seem to be very strongly opinionated that its absolutly not the case with usf and path commander. In 1v1 (wich you focus on too much) as you state usf seems fine, but in 4v4 its not the case at all imo. I have simply pointed the flaws in your theory about dictating the fight. you are free to have your opinion on that. I will leave it at that In: COH2 Balance

One can easily claim that Ostheer are "depended" on Jaeger armor since it is the most popular commander in 4vs4 by far. If your theory held any truth, UKF who are also long oriented, can build sandbag and can selfheal from start and have the no bleed UC would be "dictating the fight" but they simply do not. We are not dicussing ost commanders. Stretching the issue so far until it breaks wont help. A commander just in 4v4 games on a faction that is beter designed is a poor comparisson to make. Ukf has things making simaler things such as long range weaker, the upfront and total cost is higher to get going, they need to hug cover to even get the max out of their long range. The uc doesnt get 50 vision out of the gate and it cant cap. But the healing blob is to strong i agree. In: COH2 Balance

And USF have better win-rates than other allied factions and appear superior to axis faction in 1vs1 so they do not seem to struggle. And once more flexible units allow players to "dictate the fight" easier. I am not talking about the factions directly. Only that usf as a faction is now dependend on doctrines to be competive in bigger modes, just as su has been in the past. Flexible units dictating the fight more often is your opninion. Nothing more. If true what you say soviets of the past and usf currently would not have releid on specific doctrines so much. When rifles still had smoke you are correct but they lost that.
