Thread: Ostheer Accuracy30 Nov 2021, 11:25 AM The 222 is a lot cheaper thus should be less impactfull. Its vision however does not disable its guns. It can do aa quite wel. The t70 has this ability toggled and disables its guns. And its impact is only shortly before a p4 is fielded. So only if you keep the t70 alive can y.ou make use of its vision. Its usualy a lost game if you build a 2nd one. The p4 or wich ever vehicles you decide to put spotting scopes on dont have their guns disabled. Wich is a massive plus, that and you can put it on any vehicle. It should either be a toggle with downsides or just for 222 251 or cmmd p4. In: COH2 Balance

The thing I said was that he was getting snarky comment because he claimed something allied is op (something you seem to agree with) so maybe you should ask yourself why you felt the need to quote me and disagree with something I have not said. But I would rather you stick to things that are relevant to bofors... If in your opinion maxim needs a buff I suggest you start a thread about it about it instead of posting about it in thread about boffors. Then just leave out "allied" from a simaler sentence next time. That helps not giving the idea that its one sided. It just was strange to me when you mostly are about allied units being to strong or effecient and only sometimes about axis units. Thats why i responded. I did not say the maxim is up. I said try get it buffed and watch the meltdown. So i wont start another thread just for mentioning it as an example to prove a point. As for the bofors popcap. Its not to low. You still pay feul for a static unit. Also as well that mg bunkers cost no popcap and lock out an area just fine. In: COH2 Balance

If you also actualy claimed something axis is op you would know it goes both ways. If you say anything axis is op or its not up and is fine will get you snarky comments as well.... Its not quite as one sided as you say. Try getting the maxim buffed by the tinniest amount as an example. Grab some popcorn and watch the maxim ptsd kick in. In: COH2 Balance

Also soviets have no stock healing bunkers and forward hq to reinforce and heal it at the same time. All factions can do this stock except soviets. Wich adds to the survivability of the pak howi and leig, esp the leig as the major and ambu are much easier to take out. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: HM-38 120mm Mortar Squad is OP21 Nov 2021, 18:29 PM The placebo effect has some truth to it imo. Its impact animation and sound make it seem far more supirior then it actualy is. While in fact its aoe and its range are its strong features. Its rof wich nobody talks about somehow is considerably lower. Also if people use it at max range only it will hit almost everything but the intended target(s) It also cost about a third more then other mortars and probably its aoe is a third better, its popcap is a third higher. Imo this is all balanced as it should be. In: COH2 Balance

What a joke. The soviets dont have the same potentail to turtle as ost or brits. They lack the power of the mg42 and long range inf. They need to be agressive and on the move. The one thing the 120mm does well is counter defensive/turtle/static play. It does so with the slowest rof out of all mortars, and costs quite a bit more as well.not 100% sure but the scatter seems to be bigger as well. Its defenitly not the best mortar by far. It has its weaknesses. The 120mm is shit and a wasted investment if your opponent goes for a mobile stratagy. Yes even ost can go mobile. You not changing/adapting your play does not make a unit specificly used countering your playstyle OP by default. In: COH2 Balance

Same as the leig and pak howi. Making it 4 men when axis already wipe 6 men easier then soviets wipe 4 is over the top. Just as giving soviets bundle nades vs 4 men ost squads. In: COH2 Balance

I had a game where stupid comet dived. Got faust 2x with 1 hp 1 deflected and 1 hit but it doesn't kill. I remember that. Dont know if the problem lies with the faust or the comet. Its bouncing RNG is way too much I've never seen a tank bouncing lots of AT even on sides, rear, Faust or same level heavy class shots. This armor moves like a PUMA and can be spammed. Faust recharges quicker then at nades. That is still a plus. Faust cant kill it? if true needs to be fixed. It can be spammend same as the panther p4 etc. Nothing op imo. Its armour is on par with axis armour nothing op about it. Its speed is almost the same as the panther. Nothing op about it. In: COH2 Balance
