That small price increase to 340 from 320 after recieving many many buffs... please its the same no impact nerf volks got.

But do para,s cloak and get dps bonus coming out of cloack? Can para,s snare? Can para,s do anti garrison or cover?

If you think Riflemen are bad, wait until you meet an LMG Paratrooper blob.
Fallshirmjeagers are at the top offenders. Watch a group/blob delete sqauds in seconds at long range. Coming from out of cover its even better.
Claoking snaring smoking cover deneying and nade wiping along side very good dps. And no 4 men does not balance that out, they have the best recc acc in the game and cost just as much as pgrens.
As long as this unit remains as is all other whyning about allied x unit op is invalid.

Stop trying to buff allies unit, they are mostly in good spot already. The 120mm should not get pop or resource reduction imo. Vipper mentioned what i wanted to say about the 1 man retreat too. The 120mm is where it is now, because it is good already, good to use if needed to explosive damage.
It will be a nightmare in 4v4 if this unit get spam when it becomes cheaper and more survivable.

They cost more and preformance difference with grens is not much in cover, out of cover they are worse. Their price also does not change after they bolster. |
To me sections are fine. Brits have great versatile infantry. I always use bolster. As UKF you must play like ostheer and use the full power of sections AND mgs. You just can't play them like USF or Sov. Sections can easily carry you to next stages of the game and remain your staple infantry. I can't imagine a scenario where realistically speaking you don't put sections in cover where they are boosted. In their "natural" circumstances and when properly supported, they rock.
When it comes to testing - one should test all scenarios and only then draw conclusions. You can't set up a test in probably the only scenario when a given unit loses and use it as an argument to boost a unit. A risk of unbalancing is too great then.
I think for the cost and getting their nades and lmg,s and punishment out of cover they are slightly up.
Your pay for a 5 men squad but get 4 men until you pay more. The 2mp less reinforce cost and sandbags dont cover that completely. |
I agree that its popcap is to high, its price is to high, and vets to slow.
Its impact is not inline with these factors imo.

The first test was very biased and trying to prove sth rather than test. Vet 3 sections without bolster, with 2 brens and with no cover are just a funny scenario. The tests should be done at vet0 in all distances, with and without cover first. Then with upgrades, one at a time in the same scenario. Then with vet. The upgrades should include bolster. Without it the whole discussion does not take most realistic combat situations into account. Bolster is the best upgrade as it adds survaliability and doesn't change the squad cost. It also allows to buy 5 men squads for only 270mp. To me UKF is really powerful, especially with t0 mgs and sectiins. They are just fine.
So just because the test shows grens do not suck as much as claimed by lots of wher players its a biased test.
You claiming bias on this test, when you only see up on axis side and op on allied side invalidates your claim entirely.

then give it a set amount of health repair like the others, the advantage of soviet repairs is that it will always heal to full does not matter how much hp u have, the trade off is that u can't cancel it , brits too have it like this but they can't heal always to full as it's only 45 seconds but u get smoke by paying more

Only one guy here talked about the cause of the allied td preformance.
The fact that so many either ignore it or think nothing of it amazes me.
Allied td,s where buffed because allied armour had a very very weak late game. Both panthers bested all allied vehicles even if outnumbered it mostly came out on top. If a panther was lost the axis player fucked up and not because het got outplayed. And also axis having better handheld at to cover their rear increased its survivability greatly and also a kt nondoc, i never understood why they decided on that atrocity.
If the kt was doc the penn bonus would not have to be so extreme on allied td,s. Because you would not be able to get it every game. This in turn with delaying heavies and panthers would give mediums in general a lote more viability. |
