The feedback from the players was there, the people who want to help were there, you just need to make use oft them! I assume there is something like this but it´s not public. I would really like to help you here and tell you which new issues occurred since the patch but I can´t tell you which problems are new because i don´t now which one´s were present before this patch. This because i stopped playing, i needed to wait about 45 minutes für a game. I would invest this time now, i want to help, i want CoH1 back at old level but how without a pre patch issue list. So please, let´s do this right! Please, create a thread, let´s make an official issue list and then we can compare. And don´t only create these thread, read it. We are still here, we want to help, i would even pay for i fixed CoH1 version but you need to work with us. We can do it! In: COH Central

Thread: VGG22 Aug 2013, 18:48 PM I would not recommend to cast this game. The early and some parts of the mid game are entertaining and nice to watch but the rest (at least 30 minutes) is a defeat on installments. One player is pushed back to his base (guess who) and trys to finde a way back in this game, without any sucess. This part wasn´t that entertaining, maybe you can even call it boring because there is a turning point in the mid game, who decides the game, and a long agonizing way to defeat afterwards. With CoH1 we never had Problems hosting at least a 16 player tournament, after Steam this was no longer possible, too many players stopped playing. Does not seem to be the case. Many german competitve players were deeply disappointed from CoH2 and have never bought it or stop playing after a few games. I expect this to be a problem but as it seems the situation is worse then i thought. And if we can´t host a tournament now we will never have a chance again. It was a try. In: Events Central

Every once in a while I get I also agree 1000000% with Mortality. There was no reason to totally start from scratch with COH2. It was like they tasked the devs to not use anything good from COH. You have the benefit of a proven model which is highest rated RTS ever and has been polished. You learned from your mistakes. So now you reinvent everything and then yell at people to give it time because COH took years as well. There was a reason. CoH1 was a game which was good ratet by some game magazins but i fact sold not aws expectet. So they made some chance. I am not sure if the understand that the bad seeling numbers were in fact a result of bad marketing while the game was in matters of concept good. I think they misinterpreted the situation and changed the game play too. Keep in mind there are not many people from the original CoH1 team left. Plus the game isnt made for competitive gameplay, they earn there money mostly with the guys who buy the game, play camapgne and proceed to the next game. Competitive play makes no money, so why support it? In: COH Central
