Thread: 10 Reasons Why We Need Observer Mode Now3 Jun 2014, 18:31 PM As a (former) commentator i agree. It´s a feature which was promised but never got implemented. The lack of support for commentators, especially those from germany, is one of the reasons why i stop doing CoH videos. All we got are some informations in a replay but who want´s to know how many damage an entire army did? This is CoH, not Dota or LoL. I was hyped for the new statistic stuff and got kinda depressed when if found out that all this information weren´t avaliable in a replay. There are so many interessting informations which aren´t displayed. The replay system is simply out dated. And i don´t even talk about live statistics while watching a replay or an observer mode.. . I invested some time and created my own overlay. I like doing such stuff but tbh it´s far from beeing perfect and it costs a hell lot of time. atr3uh, you got my respect for including the unit shields. No idea how you do this but i assume it´s a lot of work. In: News

Feel free to share the accurate numbers then. Besides that, i really don´t think we talk about thousands of missing players here. It's not about exact numbers, its about the trend and the general direction and in this regard those numbers should be correct. Again, i don´t think the game is dead but i also don´t think there is much of a future in matters of growing player numbers for various reasons. In: COH2 Gameplay

Players, March 2014 CoH1 1,741.8 CoH2 2,612.6 CoH2 Lost 29.73% of it's players during February, 19.24% in march. The game is made some good progress in matters of balance. Western Armies will bring back some guy´s and attract some new players. And many of them will play some time and move on soon after because Western Armies will screw up the balance. As OF did in vCoH.Calculating with about 3000 - 4000 players average in long terms sounds realistic to me. CoH2 is not dead but i don´t think there is much potential for the future if we talk about player numbers. In: COH2 Gameplay

I did a CoH1 Training for some months untill the participants lost there interessent. I put tons of time into this project. At the begin when all was new and exciting there was no problem at all. But then they began to realise that there is no magic fast way to get better. In fact you have to put a lot of work into this. That was the pointe when the number of people who throw the towel increased untill a point the training was dead. That was really frustrating for me. To sum it up, the number of players who is really willing to improve themselves and not just talk about it is very small. The rest will just waste your time. In: Lobby
