The M3 would be unique to the commander and would allow the bundle to be cheaper and arrive earlier. Having a stock unit appearing in doctrinal bundle makes little sense unless it allow you building skipping and that is not the case here.
Thompson Guards are quite strong and their availability should be limited. The other option is stop coming in a bundle and become CP3.
im still not seeing how you can make elite infantry that cant be obtained without a fuel cost worth it. not sure how i feel about 3 cp but if it means they dont have a fuel cost i figure thats alright... |

just so u know, upgraded pfusi and penal have similar dps, and almost same vet bonus, and people consider pfusi quote: "THE BEST SCALING INF IN THE GAME"

Fussies have 5 levels ov vet, team weaponsupport and forward heals always available which makes a difference. If fussies were copy and pasted penals they would still scale better because by design the faction scales better. |
Volks are being adressed in the patch, so i leave them out of this discussion.
10mp increase is not "being addressed" its a joke is what it is. All of a second of manpower generation and up to 40mp more expensive for a standard build.... The maxim got a large cost increase ontop of its 3 other nerfs last time it was neutered so no volks isn't being addressed and omnio potent all role infantry needs to be taken into account when figuring out how to fit the elite infantry the aforementioned volks make not seem worth it to work.
Obers are a bonus if you can afford it, otherwise volks will more than make up for it by being able to build and deny cover and punish the enemy for closing and be on deck to blow an engine. |

On the other hand Assault Guards with Thompson are actually very powerful and they their should be restriction in their numbers.
Changing the M5 to an USF M3 and lowering CP to 2 might be enough to make them attractive even without drop-able weapons (which is actually a very design imo).
Even then, now you have a worse halftrack that cant be turned into AA. it scales worse and you have a fuel cost bundled to your elite infatry. In order for the bundle to work it needs somethin worth getting and if need be replacing. Otherwise you have 1 off infantry with a fuel cost meaning they will be ignored imstead |
Well, it's bad if you have veteran squads because the buff for Combined Arms is sometimes worse than the veterancy bonuses that the ability replaces!

Right it's probably a mix of thing. Cause I think comet had rotation rate nerfed in order to remove crushing so that's gotta be part of it
I just remember playing a mod (i think made by someone on the balance team) where Stuart was given ability to crush more stuff but still couldn't run over models. Was a solid improvement to help at running away from mediums, but it might be too much in the fight against LVs

I recall vipper saying that human crush itself is a toggle independent of crush level so in theory you could have light crush and the ability to roadkill or the possibility of crushing trees but not people but I am uncertain myself. |

My guess would be, based on their posts I recognize lately that they are a bad player and their only interest is in having it easy for themselves. They clearly don't understand even the basics of balance and relative costs. I wouldn't waste my time with them

Lowering the range of flame grenade or moving to SP. Imo that can fix allot of issues with maxims.
Removing the ST44 upgrade from VG or replacing it with MP40 can also help conscripts allot.
Better designing T1 can also help allot, changes could include:
lowering price for Penal replacing their weapon and giving them SVTs as weapon upgrade, removing PTRS upgrade and introducing a AT squad with PTRS if there actually a need for it.
