Fallshirmjeagers are at the top offenders. Watch a group/blob delete sqauds in seconds at long range. Coming from out of cover its even better.
Claoking snaring smoking cover deneying and nade wiping along side very good dps. And no 4 men does not balance that out, they have the best recc acc in the game and cost just as much as pgrens.
As long as this unit remains as is all other whyning about allied x unit op is invalid.

lol grens better then IS? bunch of clowns in here. IS sh*t on grens, heck most infantry sht on grens, but ostheer has very good support for grens. IMO i would make IS only 4 man with no bloster upgrade. But buff ther base stats so being 4 man, they are justified in being powerful in terms of DPS whilst being able to dual equip brens. Or maybe allow bloster to 5 man but no upgrade to brens available thus, giving the brit player a choice between Firepower or surviveability |
dont think brum needs buff. What needs looking at is kv8, croc and allied TD's.

picking brits is risky in 1v1, compared to other factions, they just lack certain tools, before it was snare, now they got em, honestly all they need now is mortar squad and they will be viable. RN they have to rely on mortar pit or tommies arty call in, its just costly, risky and time consuming just to dislodge an mg42. |
Imo the only issue with the JP4 is its place in tech. If it's along side a panther you will 9/10 times take the panther due to its mobility traits.
The JP4 could work in HQ after 2 trucks to allow okw something that isn't God tier but still good as AT if the schwere goes boom. It also allows an okw player to go med+mech and still have a decent TD to help fight TDs.
It's not a spearhead unit after all, it's primarily defensive in a very aggressive faction which is why it feels so out of place.
in most situations, the 2nd truck ppl go for is the schwere hq, that would make little difference. Maybe if the jagdpazner is available before unlocking the flak gun on shwere or switch it with ir HT battlegroup HQ. i dont think jagd pazner really needs much of a buff, it counters all med-to lights aswell does expentially well vs allied TD's. only struggles vs heavies but thats why you have a panther. At most id probs give it better pen through vet |
But after all, its top speed is very low while the design of the the tank required it to taking shoot and fight in close range to be effective (damage spong, main gun with low far pen and grenade ability). This often lead to situation that the tank get surrounded and attacked from multi direction, so it has more acceleration and rotation to be able to manage it way out of danger.
So why does it have high rear armour if its supposed to have high acceleration and rotation to rotate its rear armour away lol. if your churchill gets flanked, that doesn't mean its 100% destroyed, it has very high health pool, the only way you can lose it if you over extend it without any support (and it still sometimes survives lol) then you deserve to lose it.

according to who? its main gun has nothing to do with its rear armour. For its average gun, it has decent armour and very high health pool, that is sufficient enough for its role as a damage sponge, even if it gets flanked with low rear armour, it will still take a long time to be destroyed so its role is unaffected whether it gets flanked or not. You have to also consider the fact axis dont have access to non doc 60 range, high damage, high pen, high accuracy TD's.

KT, IS2, KV2 have a significantly more potent gun and don't have to go through the 50% gamble if they can even pen vetted PIV. Basically every medium tank in the game has better AI than churchill. Was churchill's AI so good, it wouldn't have to get on top of an AT gun to throw a nade at it.
thought we was talking about the croc? its ai is worse then mediums?? no man wtf. In your earlier post, you said the slow mobility was the reason croc has high rear armour thus i mentioned other heavies and now your changing your reasoning. TBH, its not up to me or you, but the balance team who wer supposed to standardise all mid-heavy tanks rear armour, but have left out a few but will hopefully look at in the future. With rear armour nerfs the croc aswell as the Churchill will still be very viable options. |
To reward player for flanking the slowest tank in the game with the fastest tanks is like giving a medal in karate competition to a 20yo that defeated a 9yo. Churchill mobility is shit, that's why I believe it was given extra survivability. There is no other tank that is this slow and neutered as churchill. It's main role is not to die and deal some damage. Flanking a fast tank like panther is rewarded with almost certain penetration because it's significantly more difficult to succeed in flanking a panther than it is to succeed in flanking the churchill.
Croc is worse than Tiger, Pershing, IS2, just leave it alone.
KT, IS2, kv2 etc, these tanks are slow too, should they have 180 rear armour too?
And regarding the 2nd highlight, its role is not to die? so its supposed to be indestructible according to who? the balance team? and finally, it does do damage, it does INCREDIBLE damage to infantry and support weps, et guns etc, while being average agaisnt tanks and is able to soak up insane damage from the front.
point is, It doesn't need high armour on its rear to be able to exel at its current role. Do you srsly think the croc will be useless or ineffective without high rear armour? answer this question |
Flanking any tank should be rewarding, simple. Plus, i thought that all med-heavy tanks rear armour's were being standardised, so ther is no reason for it to have 180 rear armour. |
