Thread: USF urban assault10 Oct 2019, 20:16 PM Jump back to quoted post10 Oct 2019, 20:11 PMGrumpy I'm not defending Urban Assault (because its BS and annoying) but I'm pretty sure that the two shrecks of the PG's do as much damage as the 3 bazookas, and are more likely to penetrate. Even more annoying was having to play two automatch games last night against a "top 30" OKW player who had Urban Assault as one of his 3 OKW commanders. He used both Calliopes and Rangers in both matches, but couldn't buy zooks for his rangers. Rangers with Thompsons shred cons. shreks fire much slower and they come on 4 man squad, so much more easier to wipe. RN USF just have so many over performing units (jackson, riflemen etc.) that are difficult to nerf as the factions relies on them and on top of that, they have this nonsense In: COH2 Balance

Gren are supposed to be supported by a HMG at least (could be a sniper as well) and Volks by Sturm (and even Kubel) in the early game while Rifle are on their own unit T1/T2 unlock and potential HMG support since RE isn't going to be a game changer that early. So evidently RM must be superior to Gren and volks since they also face their T0 hard counter in the form of HMG, Sniper and Sturm. if that was true vs grens + mg42, then usf wouldn't have a mortar in t0. And 3 riflemen can easily on ther own beat volks, sturms and kubel lol. I can understand HMG and sniper to counter riflemen but kubel and sturms? lol no In: COH2 Balance

Do you also compare Universal Carrier to King Tiger, because they both have tracks, both come from T0 and both have are stock? Falls are nothing like paras, unless you count the name. Airborne guards, who also happen to be infiltration unit, are the closest in terms of effective range and deployment. Commandos are closest in combat application. And there is nothing that comes even close to falls utility kit. They beat LMG paras at close range and they beat thompson paras at long range. Your point? Potent support like mg34 and reketen? this is OKW not ostheer. 2nd paragraph is not relevant at all, just another one of your classic red herrings. The final line clearly indicates how ignorant and pointless it is responding to you. you haven't played the game, nor have you even bothered to test falls, srsly its ridiculous. In: COH2 Balance

Changes have been made to allow them to arrive sooner and scale better with veterancy and tech, at the cost of having less firepower upon deployment." They are clearly being compared to obers. Thread: Rifles overperforming?24 Sep 2019, 19:55 PM Rifles have always been better then volks, BUT okw managed to outnumber USF since min 1 and it would just snowball from ther. With the early game nerf to OKW and rifles small buff, its completely tipped in USF's favour. Previously as USF u had to hold on until late game where once riflemen wer vetted and upgraded they would stomp all over volks, but now at all stages of the game ther getting stomped. Falls have no buisness taking on dedicated long range 6 man elite infantry like that, they are not Obers. If they had ambush bonus on or had any vet (which they should as they come earlier) they would've beaten Paras. Heck I managed to do that in live game against not only USF paras but also Soviet ones and Guards. falls are supposed to be an alternative to obers, they are elite AI inf In: COH2 Balance

Btw they didn't JUST increase JLI cost, they also nerfed them I suggested the cost increase because they come earlier at CP 2, to prevent or at least delay the blobbing. If you want to remove faust and make them even more venerable to vehicles make them 5-6 man like paras then. And regarding JLI, get your facts straight the nerfs they got didnt touch ther performance at all. "Cost increased from 250 manpower to 280 Deployment cooldown increased to 100 seconds.
