Honestly, I don't find the ostheer unbalanced, I find them boring AF. You are on the defensive with a ton of AT guns, and you have to turtle and hopefully bleed the enemy hard enough. You are normally forced into mobile defense if you don't go for osttruppen for map control so faction picks aren't super diverse. It's kind of sad that the entire faction ends up getting stuck on tier 2 so often.
If you think that of OST, then you are either:
a. Doing it wrong; or
b. Have picked the wrong commander.
Ever heard of an Ostwind + P4 flank combo, with a halftrack and pios to cap?

UKF: while the Aec arrives faster, it way easier to deal with as AI is not as great as it used to be.
USF: abuse sniper. If Cpt is the first tech, your sniper has impunity as they have nothing they can do. Ambulance/Nades/Racks will delay the Stuart even further.

The art of blobbing rifles with 2x BARS and Bazookas or Pzgrens with 2x shrecks is really getting on my tits... Has anyone ever though of reducing ALL squads inventory capacity to "1"?

Put the storm Offizier into a building and let the obers shoot and let him buff your surrounding troops. Good survivability and buff. Done it multiple times and then you have the possibility to wreck people.

Target the officer squad and you have instant retreat for said blob.
OKW have zero weakness.

This will work better, sturmpios are more fragile, smaller squad, more expensive, itll give OKW an AT option without the possibility of blobbing.
If your opponant gets a blob of sturmpios, you suck anyways and the game would be over either way

On some maps its basically impossible for it to have any effect. I haven't seen it in forever

Close the pocket is essentially a game winning ability if it gets triggered at any game level. It is however very hard to use, as a result of this.

With such map deisgin in game it can't be real "win teh gaem" ability. I think it should be either buffed for to be real wingame button, or... closing pockets should become easier, but close pocket itself should become little weaker.
