I have noticed, that a lot of games in which my team mate and I are dominating in 2v2 are lost after 10 minutes to the allies 2v1ing a fuel, setting up shop by using 2-3 units to build then creeping sim city to the central vp, almost as if simcity was the backup plan if they started losing.
If a surprise bofors kills a vet'd gren squad w/ lmg or scoped 222, it's pretty much paid for it's self. Combined with a bofors the mortar pit will bleed mp at a rate that is impossible to ignore.
Battlefield One is a stinking piece of shit. Why do you think they did not even show ANY GAMEPLAY at E3?!
Also EA and DICE can go fuck themselves, I knew it since the beginning. Launching the game without the French is fucking insulting.
France was the Main fighting force for the Allies, fought in the most Fronts, Western, Balkans, Africa, Middle-East and even Gallipoli. Did the most fighting and thus millions of casualties.

Reason BC2 was so enjoyable, each class was his own man.
However, there's no denying that UKF Tank Commander & Emergency Warspeed are a bit over-the-top.
Emergency Warspeed should function like the Ostheer version:
- Lighter tanks get better version of the ability than heavier tanks
- This is why the OST Panther seems balanced, whereas the OKW Panther turns into a race-car (OKW Combat Blitz behaves like an Emergency Warspeed on steroids)
- I have no opinion about the availability (small munition cost? require the engineers to repair longer to activate?)
Combat Blitz is considered on steroids, however it is only a few seconds duration.
War speed, just means that - tanks move at race-car speeds - there is no acc/reload boosts.
PIAT is more late game AT than anti light vehicle rush, I prefer Tank Hunter Section or AEC + 6-pounder. Also people keeps forget about mines: always lay mines when you have surplus muni, especially for Soviet and UK who don't normally get good AT, a light vehicle run into a mines is usually a death sentence for it.

Always build them on common roads, preferably in the middle of an intersection, and always protect your flanks with wire and some mines.
1. Why 600 manpower and 100 fuel? Are you trying to make artillery pieces their own graves?
2. No one is going to spend that amount of manpower unless its a team game. Even then, its a risky move considering the German's ability to counter artillery pieces with their Stuka dive bombs.
1) Howitzers are not "campy playstyle", they are "anti-campy playstyle" tools.
2) If Howitzers are "anti-campy playstyle" tools, then they should suck when you play against NOT campy opponent.
The only buff I would give to howitzers is that they don't get instantly destroyed by offmap arty or stukas, but only get unmanned ( like the rest of team weapons). Otherwise some of them are pretty good ( the left for example)
First of all. I like howitzers too but as long as certain off map arty strikes can reduce them to ash in a single click (I'm looking at you Stuka bomb strike) nobody in their right mind is going to invest in 600 mp + 100 fuel in static artillery, even more so if it can't be built in HQ territory.

That's just wrong. There are plenty of top quality RTS that have no customization systems. Star Craft, War Craft, the entirety of the Command and Conquer series, Grey Goo, Age of Empires, etc.
Adding custom commanders is a bad idea. Aside from the very real balance issues that this would cause* this game has already got a learning curve that kills its appeal to newer players.
*Do you want to play against advanced emplacements plus landmattress plus arty cover? Or Stuka Loiter plus Tiger plus puma? I sure don't. I also don't want to suffer through the next 12 months while they figure out how to price them correctly
