Though this is from my experience, one of the only ways to deal with a mixed blobb, due to smoke and AT. A very hard to defeat Brit blobb. Other thing is Brum... But that leaves Axis vulnerable to strong Brit tanks. There is really no other save way to beat such a Brit Blobb and you are complaining? Sad that this game as every other RTS rewards blobbing. Ostwind: not enough firepower and backing off it easily gets killed due to path finding bug, or suddenly teleporting forward or into some obstacle. And it leaves Axis vulnerable to tanks. Stuka: Maybe at rank 1-5 useful against a beginner MG: smoke... Always visible minefield: lol Capping where the blobb isn't... Draining manpower with lucky mortar shots and sniper... It's so hard because there is no real counter that doesn't leave you vulnerable to the Brit tanks. Or did I overlook something? Trying to find ways... Haven't played coh for moths... Now am playing mostly Axis... Fell from rank 200-300 to 1k - 2k 2v2 Panzerwerfer = Your answer to deal with Infantry blobs. It is so easy to abuse and what it doesn't kill outright it pins. Get your mortars behind some HMGs, As soon you see 'em pop smoke relocate. In: OKW Strategies

Trying to avoid more conventional builds as much as I can. Fuel investment doesn't seem too much of a concern to OKW. However i commend your attempt to do something different rather then the usual mindless shrek blob + panzer katze spam. In my experience Puma-centric builds can be really fun and dynamic, however if you want to go puma heavy consider the Mobile Defense doctrine from Ostheer, the Command Panzer gives your Pumas the much needed durability, and if you stack enough Pumas your enemy is very screwed. Pumas are great if the game is already tipped to your favour. In more desperate situation they are a liability because they lack the staying power of more heavily armed and armoured tanks. Without these army of winning player would grow so fast that comeback would be impossible. @OP: there is a comeback chance for usf, the calliope, just like any other rocket artillery it bleeds your opponent so you can comeback more easily. Still its hard, especially against okw who have far superior late game. Slight hiccup in your plan...Calliope is paid commander. In: US Forces Strategies

RELIC GIVE US CHAT FILTERS, SO WE DON'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO THE BITTER BILE OF TROLLS. Thread: Speaking of AEC8 Feb 2016, 17:52 PM AEC is in function and effect very similar to T-70 and Stuart, so treat it the way you'd treat any of those. AEC is very fragile and any Faust can seal its fate if its followed up by something else. If not, it will have to limp back home and give you time to deploy your counter. AEC's effect is dependent on your ability to keep your cool. It might be a bit overdone, but it's definitely not broken. In: Ostheer Strategies

Tell me exactly how many times have you seen in game people being able to predict and deny those supply drops? Cause i haven't. Having a entire doctrine based around cheese panic button abilities doesn't make it right just because the supply drop has a slight drawback. In: COH2 Balance

Simple counter to intense blobs and even Leigs, but you need to support and defend it. Mortar is definitely not a counter to LeIgs, unless if you speak of the 120mm, because every other mortar gets out ranged by the LeIgs.
