Double mortars/LeiG followed by infantry/armored assault, any bloody flame weapon = RIP emplacement. Flame halftrack will get it rekt too. Oh wait, he popped brace? if you played your cards right, all this will do is buy himself a few extra seconds before dying, where he can't fire back. If he went Mortar pit it means he sacrificed significant field presence, making him especially vulnerable to flanking. most people go head on anytime they see an emplacement and this is exactly what the Brit player wants. Attack, make him bleed, he won't be able to refit his casualties so he'll be forced to concede ground. You barely see Lehf anyway, not that it's an excuse, but field howitzers are definitely non-meta. The fact you can't build units is a big deal that simcity-phobics are glossing over.I like the principle that this is a slight gamble, a ill timed counter battery could really screw you up. If executed properly in a 4v4, its basically push to win button. Whats stopping you from flanking two of their closes points with pios, Sheck Grens in a half track? All you have to do is break supply, and it's GG everything in between. Great for breaking a stalemate. Decapping all the enemy rear in a 4v4? very unlikely. It is unpopular because of how hard it is to pull off, the larger the map the harder to achieve it. Not saying it is impossible mate, just saying it can't be reliably used like other commanders, that is what gimmicky means, you need the moon and the planets to align (and the enemy to have the map awareness of a amoeba) in order for you to pull it off consistently in 3v3 or bigger matches.. He said the Co-ax was roughly as good as a LMG. Basically you can't play it like a T70 anymore but the Co-Ax is good enough that Infantry just can't just ignore it like they used to. Should be in a good place for its intended role of light vehicle hunter that can threaten mediums. Sounds good to me. Provided it is usable vs light and maybe even medium tanks. In: UKF Strategies

But it is good to know that new abilities of the new commanders that they sound reasonable. Thread: Map Design is where this game failed at18 Feb 2016, 21:04 PM Lienne Forest and lanzerat ambush are a pretty good examples of bad map design. The whole right portion feels like a MOBA, too corridor-like which renders maneuvering and flanking basically impossible, it becomes a rugby match. I hate corridor-like maps. they are all about attrition and game mechanics abuse. In: Mapping Discussion
