You can say whatever you want, I will stop playing COH2 when Relic shuts down the Servers.
I love this game, with all its flaws!
Enjoy your bug and balance issue ridden retard fest until the end of your days then.
I have a feeling you're nothing more than a blind fanboy. |
Hello, this is mostly aimed at the heads of the community team making the winter patch.
Now I'm not saying that I'm absolutely 100% right and everyone else's opinions don't matter or whatever but I do believe more drastic changes are needed, in a similar manner like in the previous community driven update but hopefully better executed this time.
By drastic I mean for example and keep in mind these are just my ideas and opinions, the making of the MG34 into a viable T0 MG unit similar in role to the MG42 and Vickers MMG, or the removal of the British mortar pit which more mobile British players like myself don't really like and replacing it with a mobile 3 inch mortar team.
This is NOT a balance discussion, I just used the above as examples, I am just pleading the community team to implement a bit more gaming changing elements rather than just a few small bug fixes and balance issues which were pretty obvious. I have nothing against these small changes but considering this might be one of the last few times the game will be updated I only wish more changes to be implemented.
Relic not allowing such changes to be made seem illogical but understandable sadly seeing as how they've done things in the past.
Community balance team, our hopes, prayers and dreams are with you fellas, you were the chosen ones. Please don't let us down, and God's speed.
Cheers. |
I'm all for adding new commanders but only if they're not exclusive only to those people, that would be complete bullshit and spitting in the face of the rest of the community that are sick and tired of all of the old commanders by now, especially for USF, OKW and UKF, at least the Soviets and Wehr have 19 commanders to choose from while at least 6 being viable from all of them but still, 19 is 19, beats the only 9 the 3 other Western Armies have. |
How about Relic follow up on their failure to deliver a proper successor to CoH and make YET ANOTHER FAILURE to another well known RTS franchise?
But hey, at least it won't be the first game in the DoW series to not live up to expectations, many people still prefer and play DoW rather than DoW II simply because it's lacking wayyyy more than it added and from what I'm seeing with the energy shield cover system is pure lazy dumbing down of the game to reel in more MOBA and StarCraft competitive kiddies rather than make an immersive "Grim-dark" game made for the fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe to enjoy.
I made the mistake of pre-ordering CoH 2 because of a hollow promise and fanboyism and dumped more than 200 dollars combined on the game probably, won't make that mistake twice with DoW III. |
I like them vet 4 Obers with STGs melt everything in seconds.
He was asking about the Volks USF specialist.
God what are you even doing on the Cossacks 3 forums...
Anyway, on topic, if you have a lot of close quarters encounters or are playing in a city map in which you need more close range firepower than long range one... |
Exactly. The issue here is that the ability fails to fire at times screwing up your timing or forcing extra micro into making sure the ability actually fires or moving your mortar and trying again.
Can't do this as ostheer
Aside from it's quirky behaviour when it comes to ranged abilities, it has a lot of uses, like controlling line of sight or buy that little extra time holding a VP or moving your troops to better positions. For instance smoke so a sniper can't pick off your riflemen off and force your opponent to sink more of his micro into it. Or cover a retreat. You will need to know it's coming, but you get the point.
Yeah I meant that it's buggy not useless |
Out of sync perhaps? |
Ost is still fucking useless and anyone that's not good with them is deadweight to their team at least for now. |
i could swear it works everytime i use it. dont have any problems with it all
I know it's fairly easy to lie on the internet but I don't have the capable rig to make a recording of it to show as video proof, and I don't think it's a delay in orders on my part (slow performance or internet lag or whatever). |
I am not talking panzer tactician or other form of defensive smoke I talking tank firing smoke at range.
Smoke fired at range should be similar for most units or mortars should have the extra utility of deploying faster.
Wut? My Cromwells and Comets fire smoke like, less than 50% of the time, it's unreliable as well.
Which brings to my attention that smoke is in general badly implemented in this game. |
