Unknown to most players, this commander does in fact counter LEFHs as well ever since the Assault officer got the (hard to shoot down version) recon pass at vet I. I thought it was just for vehicles, but turns out you're right. Huh, I thought it was gone when ppl stopped spamming fwd hqs near their emplacements with this commander. Though I vaguely recall a repair search radius nerf(?) that may have had something to do with that. Anyway, at least the autocounter-all-arty at 3 CP was heavily nerfed and then removed. Iirc it used to kill even rocket arty. No more 130% hp bofors and mortar pits, tyvm. In: COH2 Gameplay

Unkillable emplacements + 100% uptime counterbattery that annihilated all Axis arty at CP3 or something. Bofors that was harder to kill than 10 Flak HQs. Oh and their fwd HQs repaired nearby emplacements too + gave the garrisoned fire bonus. The real sim city. In: COH2 Gameplay

I'm genuinely curious. The sappers can't shoot out of the UC and an unupgraded UC is terrible at chasing squads. And the sturms were alone at the fuel against a brit?? I don't remember all the details, a lot was going on and I didn't see this opener coming. I think there was a shootout with IS and then a hot drop on my SPs while I was distracted with that fight. Thread: Royal engineer Recovery Squad6 May 2022, 00:24 AM It is a very strong opener, in my experience, particularly effective in tight areas like Redball's west hedges. I had to default to playing for time by giving up space, knowing this player was going hard to try and wipe a squad. Would have been over fast if he had wiped the SPs, which he nearly did. That all said, I did get my revenge with a vet V kubel and ruthless harassment, so take of it what you will. In: Lobby
Thread: USF major5 May 2022, 15:41 PM I've always been a proponent of the double BARs Major so a 4th man at vet III seems reasonable. Particularly important when you need him for the 50 sight range at vet I and fwd retreat points are asking for LeFHs/rocket arty/[Insert deth of your choice]. In: COH2 Balance

There's a very thin line between using it effectively and a smoking hulk. If you think kubel vs RM is bad, try out UC vs volks/grens. In: COH2 Gameplay

Also wasn't the VET on the call in rifleman Random. I feel as though I remember getting Vet 2/3 Riflemans called in. Well yes, I did say they were call-ins.
