Will the new 'Infiltration Commandos' be the most expensive AI unit in the game?
550 for a four man squad of commandos who can't place demos isn't very appealing.
Apparently Relic add things that the community ask for (stop laughing!) so according to their own logic if we all ask for it we should eventually get it.
Considering the new system will be used by thousands of people, you'd hope they would include as many people as possible in the testing.
I know several people who were in the UKF beta and only played it for about an hour.
They could have hugely improved the system years ago, just by removing duplicate commanders/skins/faceplates/victory strikes.
Exactly. God forbid people should be able to wipe blobs, rather than just half or at best two thirds of them. Only to see the same high vet units appear again a few minutes later.
And now the Maxim is getting a nerf: because a handful of players spam them. Meanwhile USF players still need to counter tier 0 mg42s with a handful of riflemen and nades.
Sometimes it feels more like Brad is a babysitter than a balancer.
Given that they don't care about addressing blobbing (the USF and OKW are blob factions by design), I don't think they consider micro important or necessary in this game.
You can add the M8A1 Howitzer Motor Carriage to the list. No one ever builds it, and compared to all the (anti-blob) artillery the other factions get this is basically a hugely overpriced howitzer on wheels.
