Also, cover lets you defend the truck and captures some enemy shells that would hit truck otherwise. On some town based maps that pretty much means anywhere that isn't your starting area. Unless you're happy to deploy it out in the open. High wooden fences and low stone walls aren't much use vs shells, and if your truck is being attacked by infantry then clearly having access to green cover is going to be the least of your concerns. Thread: Please give OKW the 'destroy cover' ability6 May 2016, 00:41 AM Ever since I've made use of the sapper 'destroy cover' ability to make space for emplacements, I've realised how incredibly useful the same ability would be for OKW truck placement. Especially as for some reason the trucks can't drive over high wooden fenches, or over low stone walls. So please consider giving the ability to sturmpios, so that players have more options when placing trucks. In: COH2 Balance

You were lucky if you got to see a mixed unit blob. I've almost only ever seen massed gren blobs (sometimes with an officer, if they are feeling super tactical). Given how few negatives (mp cost is insignificant mid game, and at vet 4 they will survive well) there are to sturmpio blobs, I'm sure we'll see people at least attempt to switch to them. Fingers crossed it isn't as effective, and we finally see an end to shrek blobs. But based on all my experiences against OKW players I'm pretty confident sturmpio blobs will do well and become OKW blobs MKII. In: Lobby

If your opponant gets a blob of sturmpios, you suck anyways and the game would be over either way Ironically Brad's advice for addressing blobbing was to create a balance mod. People that blob them will bleed a lot. And Sturms with shrecks will suck vs infantry. MP isn't a problem if all you are doing is blobbing, and up close sturms are going to be a lot more deadly than grens were. automatic weapons laugh in the face of bolt action rifles. Time will tell, but I can see this leading to a superior all conquering terminator blob. In: Lobby

And heal faster at the medic truck - as well as being able to drop medic crates once they reach tier 1. It sounds like the next stage of evolution for the ultimate blob. Isn't this a case of making the same mistake all over again but with a different unit?! In: Lobby
