That has more to with the simple fact that 90 % of the allied players still use the callin strat. to bad for them the stug smacks the shit out of you if try to pull that stunt. People simply have not adapted to it.

And how does one abuse mg's? both allied factions have more anti mg abilities and much more useful light vehicles then the axis faction. Youcan not simply spam them like the maxims. |
The King Tiger is not limited to 1 on the field since it isn't a call in. You will find it missing in the patch note's list of heavies that are affected by the limit change.

The question is if 2 KT's are OP. Considering the cost for the okw and the fact their speed makes them the weakest of all the 3 heavies im not sure this is necessary. but at the same time i have no issue if the limit of the KT's are set to one. |

Heavy Tank Limit created by yours truly Relic has shifted the tank power to Axis. I think it is hilarious how OKW can build 2 heavy tanks while Soviets are restricted to 1. The funny thing about this is, Soviets medium armor "T-34/76" is garbage against P4 and Su-85s struggle against Panthers. The only viable strategy is T-34/85 callin?
Relic should either limit ALL armies to 1 Heavy or substantially buff Soviet medium armor.

No one is asking for them to go back to the way they were. Just for more options, to fight them.
Mate the usf has some of the better options. powerful nades smoke and rifles have very high cc dps making them excellent flankers. The usf has quick access to bulletproof lv with high dps for frontal attacks. the only thing lacking is a mortar but the mortar is not a miracle worker that suddenly makes mg's obsolete. |
Gunner dropping the gun on retreat is even worse... Nothing better than watching 5 men die running back to pick up a maxim.

I'll let you in to a terrible secret: Tier 3 is still incapable of dealing with call-ins.
In fact even more so since you can't just defuse rushes by fausting....
As I've stated before, PIV is nice enough per se, but against the usual hurr durr Guard motor 85/E-8 spam its suicidal.
Stugs are viable against these tanks. and you can quickly gain map control if your opponent waits for callins. |
