True but while this is an advantage its also a disadvantage. these changes are directly lifted from the alpha. let me tell you this ost tier 3 >>> soviet tier 3. An ostwind is really going to ruin the day of any soviet player that stays to long in tier 3. Especially on maps where the su76 is less effective. In: COH2 Balance

Really your biggest worry is the MG42 but you can still suppress it in a burst or two. The scary part isn't the M5 itself but the M5 + all the shit supporting it. Remove the ability to garrison with the puppchen, give it 60 range and we will be all smiles. isnt the incendiary bullet a different weapon? someone body confirm this plz because the mg34 incendiary is still pretty scary. It'll trigger cascade effect for USF where they would be forced to counter something that isn't supposed to be there at that time. 221 and HMG42 combo would overpower early USF effortlessly quite fast as you would be able to get delayed counter for only one of them. I dont see much of an issue. both axis factions have been dealing with the jeep and m3 for ages right now. simply standing in cover and concentrating firepower will bring a 221 down. still i dont believe that is the solution and i rather see the pak moved to tier 1 to deal with the m20 that comes out before its counter In: COH2 Balance

T70s are coming! 14 Jul 2015, 12:41 PM Because the okw no longer needs to worry about the callin meta getting a puma is now viable. as for the ostheer you can get a t-70 out but the ostwind/p4 will be right behind it. and it will likely bea ostwind since the ostwind can counter the entire tier 3 In: COH2 Balance

Yes why should I expect Relic to consider the environment a unit will be in before buffing it? That isn't a common factor to game design at all. USF lacks counters to the OP42. The gun performs better than other MGs that cost 60 manpower more. When we consider other unit matchups that big of a cost discrepancy usually means the more expensive unit will have noticeably better performance, not the case with the OP42 and DSHKa matchup. It also comes in a faction that doesn't have to fear rifle nades like Allied factions do. LOL In: COH2 Gameplay

I always fear PFussies when using snipers because of their unstoppable 6-maniness. He is correct but this about the only anti sniper option you have until obers or luchs. In: COH2 Balance

But still the situation is balances because the allied factions have better much LV's at their disposal then the axis and thus much easier time dealing with the ost sniper. You still see dual or even triple snipers teams in 2vs2 or 3v3 games because the soviet player knows it is a risk free investment. The ost player cannot say the same. the ost sniper needs support from grens to shield it from any m3 or m20. any screw up and you will lose your very expensive 360 mp investment. In: COH2 Balance
