While i do use conversion ,using it that early in the game is a rather classic blunder because without ammo upgrades neither volks or obers are not able to do anything. They have access to beasts like Jagdtigers, King Tigers, Panthers, Sturmtigers, Jagdpanzers, These units arent actually that good and i rather have a regular tiger over the king tiger and stugs and ostwinds over anything the okw can produce at base. I would not mind if they are put into tier 0 as long as their lmg upgrade stays in tier 3. Consider that Ost pios can defeat a con squad at point blank; Sturmpios do the same on steroids. There's nothing stopping an OKW player pumping out a lot of them from Tier 0. And then shocks arrive and pummel pio's into submission. are you seriously suggesting to use short range infantry again factions that specialise in short range? Just because OKW has some super-heavy units in the late game doesn't alter the fact that they have the capacity to be very strong early. No they dont. the m5 quad or even the m3 puts the okw into the defensive m20 does the same. sp's + kubel only works in the first encounter after that you will realise you wasted 240mp and 5 fuel. The problem is the main upgrade: the BAR. it is only slightly better then the g43 and has no benefits of interrogation or increased los. if you reduce the bar cost to 30 it allows the usf infantry to be what they are supposed to be: mobile with lots of firepower. And no obviously you don't intentionally drive your light armor in to the arc, but unless you are maphacking you don't know where the AT guns are always so you move around in a way that lets you escape if you find one. Driving in to one ATG arc does not warrant losing a 100% hp light tank in 4 seconds. Just learn advanced tactics. Mate scout ahead. every faction has options for that with the wfa armies having the most options. But even if you dont have that optionjust send your infantry in first. if you are not certain keep your light tank back and use it to squash any harassment capping or use it in support of a counter attack. Thread: Su-76 no longer needs free barrage?11 Aug 2015, 08:33 AM 1 su76 barrage is crap but i tend to use the su76 in groups of 3. And 3 barrages tend to tear down defensive lines pretty quickly. Not that it should be nerfed but it is more potent then people realise. In: COH2 Balance

If it doesn't exist in the game, I wouldn't care. I tried to use it this patch in a game, and it went like this: - first barrage: applied to a STATIC blob. The guy was doing something else and didn't babyseet his blob at that moment. I said "this is my moment". Booom, boom, the first 4 shells hit all around the blob. The opponent realised that he was bombarded and hit the retreat button; - second barrage: applied to a katiusha STATIC position while it was firing. Boom, boom, the shells hit nothing. Katiusha finish barage and leave safely; - third barrage: applied to a moving blob, on his path. Boom, boom, shells hit all around target. Not one hit; - fourth barrage: applied to a few units mased together - maxims and guards. Success! ONE shell, hits in the middle. Let's see the damage. Two models dead. O...kay.... Conclusion at the game's end while trying to calm my team mates down while they were grumbling me for my "artillery" choice: NEVER USE THIS PIECE OF SHIT ANYMORE. Sacrifice a goat to the rng god mate. while this sucks i have managed to get 50 kills (including kat's with counter fire ) on a regular basis. Also keep in mind that the ostheer has plenty of doctrines that can easily counter the ml20 but i know of only one doctrine for the soviets. In: COH2 Balance
