Well it takes a special kind of stupid to realize that straight DMG from guns is not everything. Falls are stronger and can faust and throw charges as well. It's like a partisan and tank hunter built into one.
Partisans are like paper, but actually have a decent gun now. Before they were like RET's
Stop digging a bigger hole for yourself mate. DPS means everything and frailty means nothing if you spawn them in the rear of your opponents line |
They are OP because they actually have a purpose and you can't find their VERY obvious flaws? Midgame they are garbage. They are only good when you pop them out as a surprise attack. Once they retreat, and have to start going from the front, it's just a manpower waste. I believe it's something like 35 manpower just to reinforce them, which they die very easily, and not counting the manpower to call in. All while you can get a conscript squad for 20 more manpower that have more utility. All I see now is them actually having a chance as a viable commander. If you are a good axis player, you will make them pay for their commander choice. Put mines in front of doors, boom, no more issue. Or build obers, minefields in back, or mg in back, doing so cripples their only use as the commander. PPSH's were trash before, again at least they can do something now. doubling the dmg isn't that big of a deal when it was nothing before.
It takes a special kind of stupid not to realise that popping a very inexpensive squad with 2 times more dps then falls next to okw.ost units is a massive balance issue. slash their dps in half and they still would be very dangerous. |
give us a replay so we can figure it out |
You can equip Brens on royal engies for 60.
You can equip vickers K on every single allied squad in game, regardless of faction in team games, for 60 a piece.
Just saying.
Brens are inferior unless they get used with the cover bonus. and vickers are nothing more then bars. |
Even still, they aren't identically priced. I'm sure the vet doesn't stay identical either. I'll admit I haven't looked at stats, I'm going off experience alone right now. I don't think the mg42 needs nerfing, but the m1919 needs to be a little better or cheaper, especially since it's a doctrinal weapon. Defensive stance made up for that with the suppression, but now it's just the same as an mg42...but you pay an extra 10mu?
stats are nearly identical they cost 70 ammo because you can also equip them on RE. Stop being biased. |
you can argue "reduce one shooting" sure, but i'd leave mines out of it.
Sure your sweeper wont be everywhere, but they dont need to be. just covering advances and possibly high risk areas of retreat.
You can't avoid some indirect fire, and yeah, getting one shot by stuff like that should be reduced,. but mines? it hard to make an argument about them.
oh stop the BS mate. if you say to me you never hit a mine before i will call you a liar. the difference is that the allies only lose some mp when hitting a mine while the axis can lose entire squads. |
I have no words..............
I wholeheartedly hope you will continue the trend. |
If only mines had a counter,. some form of detection or something,.. one can dream,. damn you relic!!!
I dont think i ever seen a person missing the point this badly before.
|
120mm is overrated currenlty. No point to pay 400MP for something like this.
By the time you can get Katy, double leigs will bleed you like hell -> no MP to tech and get Katy
Demos can be sweeped easily.
The point is that the axis had (or still do) to deal with a lot of one shotting abilities. even now soviet mines regularly one shot 4 man squads. including the obers and fsj's. so the leig one shotting stuff is really not an issue |
120mm are bad, i don't know how many times i've to say this. Just get the T2 mortar.
True but for a long time they didnt suck as much as they do now. |
