It has a 125 range and it bascially counters it's counter: AT guns. It is the same thing with WW2 heavy tanks and modern MBTs. The tank counters the counters, if it is going to be a "mano a mano". If you want to play a realistic version of WWII look elsewhere. History inspires game play, it does not dictate it. Ok, if you don't want to have realism, then I have one good argument which is not based on historical accuracy. I think JT has an interesting function in this game by being a hardcounter to emplacements. The game is not so simple and boring, when one OKW commander has the JT, which can do this. This time Katitof is wrong. JT should hardcounter it. From Wikipedia: "On 17 January 1945, two Jagdtigers used by XIV Corps engaged a bunker line in support of infantry near Auenheim. On 18 January, they attacked four secure bunkers at 1,000 meters. The armored cupola of one bunker burned out after two shots. A Sherman attacking in a counter-thrust was set afire by explosive shells. The total combat included 46 explosive shells and 10 anti-tank shells, with no losses to the Jagdtigers." In: COH2 Balance
Thread: 3v3 allied strategy / builds?12 Apr 2016, 10:26 AM Either that I have 2 MGs + 2 Inf. or that I have 1 MG + 3 Inf. before I tech up. Depends on the situation. I never build Bren carrier in team games (because they die so fast), but is is possible to have 1 MG + 2 Inf. + Bren carrier before teching up. But of course the fast 1 MG + 2 Inf. is possible when the other players gives support, for example when a Sovjet-player supports with Maxims so that the Brits can tech faster. But now you have 2 British players in a team who doesn't have so much troops on the field in the beginning of the game. Now I can think that the other team can capture a great part of the map with their Kübels if you have that build order. And your team is very vulnerable against a team who have sniper(s). Thread: 3v3 allied strategy / builds?12 Apr 2016, 06:40 AM I am not a pro-player, but I would build 3 squads with the Brits before teching up (usually 1 MG + 2 Inf.), so that the team gets more control of the map in the beginning of the game. I would also have a Sovjet-player in the team because of the Maxims against OKW. Maxims are pretty hard to counter in the beginning of the game as OKW. In: Strategy Desk
