Thread: Are grenadiers worth their 30 MP reinforce cost?8 Apr 2016, 09:48 AM The grenadiers die too fast in the game and it is easy to squad wipe the squad. Every infantry squad in the game could have more space between each soldier. It irritates me more when my Obersoldier-squad gets squad wiped by a single grenade, because they stay so close together. I thought that the joke was that it was not a joke at all. Everything is fine. If you want Japs, you need pacific front, not Europe. Yes, we need a counterpart for the Japs (if Relic decides to launch them), that is the US Marine Corps. We have the following fighting pairs: Sovjets vs Ostheer USF vs OKW Brits vs ... The Brits natural counterpart is the combined Italian/German army. Of course the Brits fought against OKW in Europe, but the USF fought also against the Italian/German army in Sicily and Italy. In: Lobby

This could work. Only thing is I think that the basic starter unit should be 5 man. I think an Italian army should have a 6 man starter unit, because they had the manpower but were not necessary as tough as the Germans. (a massive unterstatement) But where are the heavy tanks or the PAK 88? The Africa Corps had Tigers in Africa, and there were Panthers in Italy, and even an Elephant? And I think also that the Italian-German faction should be an army that is really good in defending territory, because the fighting in Italy during the last years of the war was primarily that. The argument for a Japanese factions is quite reasonable, seeing as they did fight each of the the Russians, the British and the Americans. The argument against is that you'd need to include tanks that were never fielded to give them any kind of parity. They did fortify their islands pretty well. The whole faction could be very similar as the Advanced Emplacements Regiment for the Brits. Think about it... In: Lobby

While is2 and zis are somewhat better. Vs late okw you need to play is2 commander usualy. Jp4 pen is2 normaly in comparision. Its never good investment to tech to t4 non doc units vs late okw When I played as OKW this morning, the Sovjets managed to kill my KT when it could not retreat in time because of other player's tanks in the way. It didn't take 30 shots, and I didn't even see the SU-85 shoot at my KT in the beginning. In: COH2 Balance
