AEC is more than a stop gap. Bits can already field medium tanks way earlier than OH or OKW.
The AEC forces OH to rush for a pak, reducing their field presence a lot and still not guaranteeing an efficient counter. High damage output and mobility as well as smoke on the AEC make killing it extremely hard.
Mines are unreliable, 222s are not really an option and puna comes way too late.
In short, it offers a greatly bigger shock value than the other light vehicles while being cheaper and coming earlier.

True, Panzer Werfer is overperforming a good deal. Hovewer lowering all its damage stats to Katyusha lvl seems unjustified as it has less range and fewer rockets.
So either keep suppression on it or leave the damage output slightly above Katyushas. |

More gameplay options and tactical dephts (vaulting and true sight), better accessibility (grid keys, army and production overview), better unit responsibility.
But then: The Armies in vCoH felt somewhat more authentic and diverse, units seemed tougher (as in: less instagibbing and wipes) and cooler sidetech and the supply depot upgrades.
Both games suffer from design and balance flaws. vCoHs cloak, kangaroo and piospam comes to mind. |

The rage is strong in this one.
Panther is in a good spot. It's AI is less than mediocre, run over a mine and you lose it in a lot of cases. It is out ranged by SU85s, Jacksons and Fireflies.
It has quite the long reload and less dps than stugs.
It is also more expensive than all allied ranks, except comet, and has a high teching cost. |
