I really don't go into games as them with a real preset plan of what I'm going to do (whereas as US, for instance, I might plan to go Riflemen into fast Captain into Stuart or something). It's almost always just me reacting to what my opponent is doing. The only semi-viable aggressive strats that I can think of off the top of my head are Ostruppen spam or 222 spam. In: COH2 Balance

Assault Grenadiers are only five population (should probably be seven) and Fusiliers are only six (should also be seven). But yeah, I agree, Pios should be five population. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: What makes Bofors unpleasant to fight?4 Jun 2016, 02:52 AM My only major complaint with emplacements currently is that they don't seem to take very long to construct and can be cancelled if actually in any danger. Effectiveness wise I think they're balanced, though I find the Mortar Pit incredibly annoying. I guess I'd also like to see the Bofors barrage go away too. Ability makes no sense whatsoever. Thread: Repair Speed Tweaks3 Jun 2016, 09:01 AM Mech Truck repair has never struck me as being particularly quick btw. Think it's mostly useful because it means you don't have to divert your Sturmpioneers away from the fight. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Repair Speed Tweaks2 Jun 2016, 23:58 PM My main beef is that Combat Engineers and Pioneers cut into your popcap without really providing much in the way of fighting ability. Yeah, flamethrower, but that weapon isn't usually all that great in the late-game. OKW has Mech truck repairs, which don't cost population, and Sturms, who are also good fighters. USF has vehicle crews, which don't really use up any population, and Echelons, who are generally more useful in combat imo than Soviet and Ostheer engineers (primarily because of Bazookas). Royal Engineers meanwhile are decent fighters and have a lot of utility while costing very little to reinforce. Plus they can pick up all sorts of weapons. In: COH2 Balance

Although USF M3 and greyhound could receive buff, rest like T-70 with his mighty power wipe (axis infantry got tendency to stack on retreat) and M5 Stuart supported by Pershing which has power to stun and make engine damage are seriously OP for their cost and should be somehow nerfed I'm aware of this. Ost is obviously going to struggle a great deal against Allied lights if the 222 gets a pen nerf. One thing I've sort of wondered about is the possibility of using a target table to improve the accuracy of AT guns against light vehicles, possibly even to a point where they virtually never miss (just vs. lights though). Right now there's a lot of RNG at play in these situations that has the potential to decide games and I'd be interested in seeing that factor be reduced. In: COH2 Balance
