Command Panther is a unique doctrinal tank (which you know) and JPIV uses cone-sight (which you also know). Besides, nobody was complaining about the performance of the Jackson anyways. It really didn't need a buff.
I dunno. I watched Luvnest (obviously an elite level player) have one of his Panzer Grenadier squads insta-killed by an M10 in a recent match (think it was on Arnhem Checkpoint). Looked pretty stupid to me.
Personally I'd remove all infantry crushing from the game.
They should be 7 population imo. The current 6 is too little and 8 is too much imo. They're more or less comparable to Riflemen and Tommy Sections, which are both 7. I do think they could get a price increase to 330 manpower from 290 and I've suggested removing the bonus sight they get with the G43s as well.
Also, Fusiliers don't need a veterancy XP requirement decrease. They're actually one of the few OKW units that vets up at a reasonable rate. JLI could do with a veterancy XP requirement decrease however.
Doesn't the 222 and the P2 fair well against the T70?
And while we don't see AA HT cause of it's ease of use, doesn't a defensive AA HT deal a considerable amount of damage on approach?
OKW Flak Halftrack will do considerable damage/might win against a US AAHT if the it's deployed and the US vehicle is approaching it. It stands no chance unsupported against a T-70 however (just can't penetrate reliably).
My assumption regarding the upcoming OKW vs. meta is the following. If I see an OKW player go med truck, I'm going to spam Stuarts/T-70s/Quads like crazy. If I see Mechanized and a Puma, I'm just going to get Bazookas/Guards and then do exactly the same thing.
Actually thought this would be a good idea. Total War does a good job of simulating morale during a battle. Units that get flanked and such don't fight that well and will sometimes retreat. Prop your general next to them and they'll fight better.
I'm still just looking at this from a perspective where, with the current patch, OKW is reasonably well balanced (except maybe in 4v4). Now most of the Allied are getting significant buffs and OKW is getting several really big nerfs. Seems pretty obvious to me that the result is going to be imbalance.
US mortar is silly. I mean, the faction already has the Pack Howitzer (which is incredibly good), Mortar Halftrack, and Scott (kinda a silly unit but it's still there) for indirect. They don't need a non-doctrinal mortar now.
Grenadiers: Increase their cost to 260. They are better than voks and cons, on par wit tommies and RM.
LMG42: Increase the upgrade cost to 75. Once they are upgraded with this they can't be stopped unless you have 2x1919 or a sherman HE (which will be stopped by PGrens)
Sturmpioneers: Either make volks as the starting unit, or nerf sturm's damge from 5 to 4
Kubel: 10 Fuel cost
MG34: Cost increased to 240
Falls: Cost increased to 500. They are better than commandos
Panzergrenadiers: Can upgrade to one panzershreck only.

Agree only with Cromwell crush nerf (not necessarily speed reduction) and howitzers being bad. 222 could be tweaked further too I guess.
StG Volks aren't even going to be good lol, except maybe vs. Soviets. I mean two StGs aren't going to stand up to BARs/1919 Rifles or Bren Tommies. Not even close.
Not saying StGs are bad or that Volks should suddenly be able to stand up to Riflemen with BARs, just pointing out that this upgrade isn't going to be anywhere near as good as people are making it out to be.
