Well, you need to update your game cause anvil does not offer free lmgs anymore.
And yes, it's free. You receive plane counter just for teching. For free you can ruin win the game by shooting down 500MP commandos.
It's not free just as USF teching is not free, even if it offers you free units. It's like saying Riflemen are free, you get a unit just for pressing a button. It's absolutely not free unless you can get it with 0 MP 0Munitions and 0 fuel. |
And it is still free AA.
I get it when you say it's not expensive enough, but saying it's free is just like calling any other unit free, if you just ignore the cost.
The only 'free' things I can think of is UKF recon plane and Anvil lmgs. |

Range was reduced, then it was ninja increased and nothing have changed, except for the fact that OKW have tier tied make-up mechanic for reduced resources without having reduced resources.

I'm mostly fine with locking down secor but AA abilities of schwerer should be removed long time ago.

'No unit, regardless how much it costs, should negate infantry completely' or something among those lines.

As UKF you need just 2 mg and a mortar pit and it's gg for OKW 90% of the time.1 stuka can't kill the mortar pit fast enough,2 ieig 18 will always lose to mortar pit range,damage and accuracy.I don't think USF have a big problem with shrek blobs because of the upgraded and superior rifleman reaping volks.
I really think you're overestimating what UKFs mgs and the Mortar pit can do. It's not that easy for Brits, especially when a fast Luchs suddenly appears. |
So, what about 1xCons in green cover fighting at mid range vs 1xVolks in yellow cover with the result of conscripts having to retreat?
What about 1xCons in green cover and volks approaching to the green cover and making my conscripts retreat?
I've experienced that on early game several times.
Another one, 2 conscript squads at long range stalling vs 1 Volk in green cover, I ooray with the squad that is not receiving fire to get the same green cover as volk. I focus him, he focus my close conscript squad (I move the far conscript squad to the green cover since they are not receiving fire). He kills 3-4 models of my close green cover squad but at the end he have to retreat because another cons squad is coming.
Cons are a close range unit. Cover doesn't apply in extremely close ranges anymore. There's also rng in this game so I could tell you the same story with Volks getting beaten by cons. Volks also cost 10 mp more.
The game is very balanced atm and any change runs a real risk to upset this. |
Molotovs (as well as Incendiary Grenades) could use a slight buff to their DoT tick speed.
Molotovs should get their throwing speed halved as well. |
Now cons are the worst mainline infantry in the game, all of there upgrades require resources which delays tech and was nerfed in the past year, as well as scaling very poorly into late game. Volks have 2 nades for free and panzershreks with 5 levels of vet
