Y u always imply stuff I don't say ? Just a tweak or some changes. So can we see yr playercard for those game counts and ranking with each faction? A) it's pretty great against tanks too. B) Some people think it shoudn't be THAT good against infantry. Sure, make it good. But not insta-wipe good. it doesnt always 1 shot squads. but it can happen.. on the flipside, think of how many vehicles the elefant can one shot, and the number of vehicles it can take out in 2 shots. and that with just a few shots it can take out the isu. if any tank goes up against the isu.. the isu has to back off. You cant call the isu OP on the grounds of not actually bringing a counter to the isu. In: COH2 Balance

That hasn't been changed. scout car is supposed to be a hard counter to sturmpios (as it was last patch), give a panzershrek to one of your volksgren to counter it.... In: COH2 Balance

GODS)10 Sep 2014, 17:09 PM id agree that a minor nerf for engineers firepower might make sense. but the fact that they beat sturmpios is completely logical, and that shouldnt be changed. Whats fascinating is when i brought up the incredible firepower of sturmpios pre-patch in another thread all the responses were "nah man theyre totally fine its balanced, you just need to bring bars grenades and shock troopers and you can beat them" now the assault engineers swapped places with the sturmpios and its an outrage. Thread: Stormpioneers post patch10 Sep 2014, 17:01 PM i think everyone needs to take their post-nerf rage hats off. Sturmpios are still among the best early game infantry. If used in cover and in close range they win engagements very quickly. This is always how they were used properly pre-patch, and they are still used in the same way now. Just because there actually exists an allied infantry that are better than them at t0 now doesnt mean theyre underpowered. Allied are supposed to have the early game advantage. It just means theres a single t0 unit out there that can beat sturmpios. Its a logical balancing move considering how many tanks OBW gets that totally rip up shermans and jacksons. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: OKW HT - Relic Hyporicracy 10 Sep 2014, 08:17 AM relic didnt really single out okw for nerfs. infantry all around in general got nerfs. IMO weaker overall infantry is better as I'm hoping itll encourage the use of vehicles and light tanks and discourage skipping straight to heavy tanks (as weaker infantry means you might not be able to substitute them for mid game purchases) I only played a few games today so I havent yet formed a full opinion on the overall nerfing of infantry. as far as i can tell all of the changes were done atleast with some thought in changing the overall meta. They didnt just go in and say "you know what i think OKW is winning too much lets nerf the whole faction". In: COH2 Balance

And elefant 640/245. This makes the comparison even more hilarious. i know the elefant price is right because i have the elefant doctrine, i dont have the tiger doctrine so i got the number off some search result and i assumed it was up to date. either way,at both price points, theyre really cheap, much cheaper than t4 medium tanks. Their DPS at 10 meters is higher than Sturmpioneers DPS at 4. Actually before 15 meters, the BAR actually makes them worse. BAR Max DPS at 5 Meters: 10.4789 M3 Max DPS at 10 Meters: 17.1930 Personally I think for their current performance, Assault Engineers should cost 360 Manpower and come at 1CP. no way, 360 manpower is elite infantry level cost. assault engineers are in the same boat as sturmpios, theyre really good until the mid game at which point they become increasingly useless.
